Ever wanted to own your own Titanfall 2 helmet? The just-announced Titanfall 2 Vanguard Collector's Edition – which is available for pre-order now – will enable you to do just that, though you will have to pay $249.99 for the privilege. To be fair, the full-scale replica will also come with some accessories – including an LED light and laser sight.
You'll also get a scarf, some squad patches, a field journal, and a dog-tag USB drive. If none of that sounds particularly enticing, then you may find the title's $79.99 Deluxe Edition more inviting. This version comes with exclusive war paints, nose arts, and camouflages. Or you could just, y'know, purchase the standard version, which we're sure is totally fine.

i'll errr...give that a miss..
I think the Statue from the first game was much better but was ridiculously priced too. I think I will stick with the standard edition - just not sure when I will buy. The holiday season could be expensive if the Neo releases as well but I would rather play this at 1080p+ than 900p as all frostbite 3 games are on PS4.
Still have to see what Bethesda, MS, Ubisoft and Sony have lined up for the next 6months+ which could govern my choice as to when I buy TF2...
Eh, I loved the detail of the statue, and with prime it's "only" $200. Preordered 2, one for me and one for my buddy.
@BAMozzy I agree with you the first game's statue was much better.I to will be sticking with the standard edition.
Which game had the special edition that didn't actually have the game included?
Dude, if this helmet was for sale I'd buy it in a heartbeat!... After saving up for months, of course! I always loved the helmet designs in the first one.
No steelcase so I'll pass.
@BAMozzy same, I fancy TF2 but I simply don't know when to get it. the truth is i don't get to buy many games each year and i already have a fully packed schedule (I long term plan all of my purchases). May half term next year? Hahahahaha
@BAMozzy To me, this certainly looks like the better game than Battlefield 1 and COD Infinite Warfare
@SPGFan34 Its up there with CoD:IW for me. Having played TF and got bored very quickly, as well as annoyed, frustrated and 'fed up' (keeping it polite) within a few weeks, Its not above CoD. It certainly looks as though they have added more variety and of course the SP (which to me reminded me a lot of the CoD4/MW2 era campaigns - unsurprisingly) but whether ot not it forces you to play a certain way, use certain gear etc and/or get lucky and be in the right place/right time just to level up instead of putting the emphasis on your own skill/ability/preferred play style then it may get frustrating/annoying again. I am sure people who played the first know what I mean about the 'regen' challenges...
CoD generally has a good campaign - for all the issues people had with Ghosts, a lot enjoyed the campaign and the fact this has ex-Naughty Dog at the helm as well as knowing some of the background, some of the plans for SP etc, I think this years could be great fun. It also has Zombies and the MP has similar movement to both Titanfall and BO3 - something I actually enjoy so I can't see CoD:IW disappointing me - it also has CoD4 remastered as well...
As a result Titanfall is definitely 2nd of the three and a long way above BF1. Dice haven't managed a decent campaign since BF2BC - BF3 and 4 were BAD!! BF4 also had a lot of issues that took quite a while to resolve. BF1 looks like a reskinned BF4 to a degree with a few new features - dynamic weather (remember how fog plays on Fallout 4 and Witcher 3). Both BF1 and TF2 will be using Frostbite 3 - an engine that can't run above 900/60 on PS4 it seems - so doubt it will look as sharp or good as what we have seen on PS4 (worse on XB1 720/60). BF's gameplay, good as it is, just isn't as much 'fun' as TF or CoD - especially if you play a lot 'solo' and rarely anybody talks either. Vehicles can be fun but they can also be annoying and frustrating too...
@BAMozzy yeah, I'm not really interested in COD IW because i always think it's for people with no brain cells, and I'm not really into these multiplayer-focused kind of games, but I'm willing to give Titanfall 2 a try as it's the first one of the series on ps4.
I'm ultra hyped about Mafia 3 (Sequel to what I always name the best game of all time) as well as Watch Dogs 2 in November.
It will be interesting to see which turns out to be the better game of the two as they both have GTA similarities. It's kind of like the best game of last gen and one of the last I bought last gen vs. My first ps4 game and the first game of a new gen for me.
I also like the look of Dishonored 2, but like TF2, I don't know if or when I will buy it rye to the same reasons as TF2.
$250 is just the price I hoped for, I'm buying it! I do hope it's actually limited this time around, so I won't have to watch friends picking one up 3 months later for $99.
No way. This dev is going crazy at the PS4 cash cow. They sewed their seed with XB1 exclusivity on the first so it does not wash coming to PS4 now that they realise how much money they have been loosing.
I did not miss the first and I won't miss this either. The game is just a shallow COD sim in a robotic nanosuit. COD is a dinosaur that's greedily spawning every 6 months and even that is going out of space now to try and spice it up a bit with gimmicks. Perverse.
