Hands up if you like CG teaser trailers! C'mon now, don't be shy β who doesn't love looking at logos for games not set to deploy until 2018 or later? EA's fast-approaching not-at-E3-but-still-kinda-at-E3 EA Play press conference will play host to reveals for games launching "this year and next, with a few surprises beyond that".
We have a sneaking suspicion that Amy Hennig's not-so-secret Star Wars title, which is being developed by Visceral Games and Jade Raymond's new studio Motive, will be on show. That's set to release in 2018. We'll, of course, bring you all of the news as and when it breaks β and you'll be able to join us live for EA's presser, too.

Is that any worse than watching trailers for TLG and Agent at E3 in 2009? And Zelda U in 2014 when it was supposed to launch in 2015? Or Scalebound? (trying to be impartial.)
At least they are telling us up front it will be awhile, while EVERY game gets delayed this gen.
I'll skip EA, I don't think they'll have anything I'll want to play, or will ever play at any rate, but may watch MS for the first time ever. I won't buy any console, but a streaming stick might be tempting, and I'm curious how Hololens is coming along.

Well, that's exactly what I was poking fun at?
Is this the presser where they will probably show Mass Effect, or do you think it may show up in a console presser?
@ztpayne7 Will definitely be at the EA thing. May show up at one of the platform holders' pressers too.
@get2sammyb You were poking fun? Needs one of these
Rainbow Skies is still the worst culprit, approaching DKF territory, the devs said it was going to launch in 2014.

Now maybe it's 2017. They are making No Man's Sky look downright punctual.
Personally I prefer CGi to live action trailers BUT I would much rather see actual game reveals rather than a CGi reveal. I think the game should be shown first. CGi can be used to advertise a game (although I still prefer actual game-play) but CGi should NEVER be used as a reveal.
If a game is not in a position to use its 'assets' to reveal itself, its NOT in a position to be revealed!! I would rather they used the time and resources into getting the game to a standard enough to be revealed!
I would like to see what the 2 action based Star Wars games are about though. I have been disappointed ever since I found out that 1313 was cancelled and Battlefront wouldn't have a campaign!
You would think by now EA would get Boo'd off stage. ugh
Actually I love watching fancy CGI trailers. But it better tag along with a gameplay trailer as well to put the game on my radar.
The newly revealed Watch Dog 2 is a good example. CGI followed up by gameplay instantly. I hope all reveal should follow this format...
