Smartphones at the ready: Watch Dogs 2 will tap into your PlayStation 4 from 15th November, a prematurely deployed IGN advert has unveiled. The game – which was teased earlier in the week – will be set in San Francisco, as evidenced by the appearance of the Golden Gate Bridge in the background of the takeover's key art.
It looks like, yes, the iconic Ray-Ban® glasses are very much in, as the protagonist in the picture matches the one that leaked earlier in the year. Ubisoft's not putting out an Assassin's Creed game this year, so it's using its hack happy sequel to fill the space. Much more will be revealed tomorrow, when the title's due its first ever showcase.

"Ubisoft's not putting out an Assassin's Creed game this year, so it's using its hack happy sequel to fill the space."
until they announce that the Watch_Dogs games and Assassin's Creed games are the same universe (that is meant to be a sarcastic comment but who knows maybe they are, they have a lot of themes in common not to mention a few character cross overs)
@FullbringIchigo Don't even give them the idea!
I hope this is going to be an assassins creed 1 - 2 Situation
Cool, out a week before my birthday Bring back Aiden though, the new guy looks ridiculous..
I will pass. The first game was awful.
I wonder what number Watchdogs sequel we'll get to before the game even vaguely resembles that infamous E3 lying made up trailer Ubisoft showed us years ago.
@FullbringIchigo I thought they were in the same universe? Ain't there some company in AC that's the bad company in WD, Blume I think it's called.
@SKC_Diamond The protagonist doesn't seem half as good as Ezio (although to be fair, I'm only going by the image of a hipster with Ray-Bans
So, patches should make it actually playable by.... June 2017, maybe?
I really liked the original, very fun game, here's hoping they get a decent cast this time,.
@itshoggie they said that was just a easter egg although it wouldn't surprise me if they were
What a shame. Maybe it'll be vastly more interesting.
What's iconic about some silly sunglasses? The first game had some good ideas so I'll be keeping on eye on this and hoping Ubisoft can finally break their own open world template
