Space survival sim Adr1ft is set to launch on PlayStation 4 on 15th July, according to creator Adam Orth. Although the game was designed with VR in mind – and, indeed, delayed from its original PC release to accommodate the launch of Oculus Rift – the PS4 version is yet to be confirmed for PlayStation VR when it launches in October.
Adr1ft has you take on the role of an astronaut aboard a wrecked space station as you make your way through the derelict vessel and try to piece together what exactly happened.
The game is set to be the first release from Orth's team at Three One Zero, and it's also Orth's first game since his controversial departure from Microsoft in 2013.

Is the game always online?
Joking aside it actually looks really cool, I'm in.
@Draythedestroyer Space station? Why would you live there?
Yup, I think this looks pretty good. Although, I want to play it in VR. I don't know how it will hold up as a standard game.
Adam Orth... it's that the "deal with it" guy?
Quite like the look of this, but in truth, not sure I want to support someone with that attitude to his customers.
@Paranoimia yep, that's him. He's been very apologetic about what he said, actually, and quite sincere about it. He lost his job over it and got death threats.
I was always interested in this game, kibda surprised how soon it will be out though. But great! This then Abzu then No Mans Sky.
Walking simulator + space = floating simulator (?)
@clvr flimulator?
It does "look" good, but the reviews are rather horrendous. I think gamers are starting to wisen up to these walking simulators. Being obtuse just for the sake of being obtuse is rather bland.
Look's awful it's Rapture in space, a floating sim, diary's of an astronaught, look's crap and barely a game more of a story or a video.
