Berserk, the Warriors-style adaptation of the dark fantasy manga and anime series of the same name, has been hit with a delay in Japan. The bloody hack and slasher was due out on the 21st September, but it's now been pushed back more than a month to the 27th October.
The delay could potentially have an impact on the game's Western launch, but Koei Tecmo is yet to reveal any kind of official statement on the matter. Earlier this month, the title was confirmed for an autumn release in both North America and Europe, but no specific date was given.

Didn't they announce this title once month ago? Could have just announced it with the new release date...anyway, I'm mildly interested!
@Feena It was given a Japanese release date I think... one week after it was revealed? So yeah, it's been a bit of a whirlwind so far. Hopefully this delay doesn't push it back to winter or, even worse, 2017 here in the West.
Smart move, because September will bring FF XV and Persona 5 to the PS4, and how can a Warriors game, no matter how good it is, compete with the biggest games from Square and Atlus?
Am I the only person who got excited by thinking it was a new version of the Atari 2600 Berzerk game? Or am the only one that is that old...... Evil Otto needs a comeback!
