We know that Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 is coming to the PlayStation 4, as the 2009 title's Trophies recently leaked online. But what of its PlayStation 3 launch predecessor? Well, it looks like the original could be assembling imminently on Sony's new-gen system as well, as it's been rated by European classifications board PEGI.
It's unclear exactly when these two superhero-themed dungeon crawlers will deploy, but with the ratings in place and the in-game gongs starting to appear on Sony's servers, then it's only a matter of time, isn't it?

It would be interesting if they released both on a single disc.
Wow ok, that is really useless... A Skyrim remake ok, Borderlands was to, even the Bioshock Series, but Marvel Ultimate Alliance ? Well they should make backward compatibility instead...
@Joburn90 These are coming out on Xbox as well so Activision's clearly only interested in re-selling them.
It may be them just fulfilling their Marvel license quota or something.
@get2sammyb Sure but these are really average game i can think of a ton of better game than those... That's why i say it's really useless !
It's a great idea from a corporate perspective. Marvel are clearly dominating the superhero genre right now . You can bet there are more than enough kids and merry Marvelites out there who would grab this game.
Excelsior!
@Joburn90
They're pretty fun if you want some nice co-op with your wife and/ or kids actually. My kids are a bit too young still for the likes of Diablo and are mad about Marvel, so we still regularly play these games on the PS3 from time to time; heck, I even got the first one on the PS2.
I would actually really like it if they make an UA kinda game for the PS4 from the ground up. Just look at how the aformentioned Diablo does it and let us play with our favorite Marvel heroes and fight some punks. They could even have a "build your own hero" mode where you gradually gain superpowers you've lost for some reason.
@Boerewors Buy Lego Marvel, pretty fun game to I'm a comic fan, and it's my point of view, they are not bad game, but not good to, just average.
@get2sammyb do you know if it is a straight port or remastered?
Nice I will be picking this one up as well.
@Joburn90. Sony can't do backwards compatibility either cause the cells are different between a PS3 and a PS4. Its like a Mac and a PC.
@Joburn90
Excellent game indeed, we also own Lego Avengers, a game we didn't enjoy as much as the first one btw. But my boys are at an age now that although they like Lego, they want to see a more "realistic" (Superheroes, I know ) approach; no matter how excellent the Lego games are, you still feel you're playing with Lego instead of the actual heroes.
Played the first one on the Wii. It was fun at the time.
Insta buy for me, I loved the first one and never tried the second one! Go go go!
Probably an opinion in the minority but I think it's awesome. Love this game. Plus like 50% of ps4 owners never had a PS before now so makes sense as a business , sure around half will be pissed off
@Tasuki but they could emulate the games like xbox one does with xbox360 games, wiiU and 3ds do with all their old systems except for gamecube and like sony already does with ps2 games.
Yeah I know they won't because of psnow but I personally would rather have (fake) backwards compatibility than to stream games.
Another remaster I wont get. Just give me my Shenmue, Sega.
