From what we've seen of Mafia III so far, we're reasonably excited for the upcoming open world mob-'em-up, and while we have some reservations when it comes to the sequel's rather standard looking gameplay, we reckon that the setting and characters seem pretty interesting.
Speaking of which, protagonist and Vietnam veteran Lincoln Clay is the star of the game's latest trailer, which gives us a brief overview of what we can expect from the burly lead. Put simply, Lincoln's a man on a mission, out to get revenge against the mafia that betrayed his family. Unsurprisingly, he'll have to get his hands dirty in order to get the job done.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...
HYYYPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!
Day one!
I didn't like the other two, but I have good feeling about this one! I definitely want it in my enormous backlog! Hmm... That sounded better in my head.
Yes please - from what I've seen on the interwebs and at E3, this should be a good one.
This is my most anticipated game. Can't wait!

Read this article about what Mafia did in Sicily

I watched the last episode of Penny Dreadful last night and I'm still kind of in mourning, but that vid made me think a wonderful follow-up game could be made, picking up right about here.
Never played the first two but would be willing to give it a go if it gets great reviews. These days there are just to many great games to settle for a good game, lol.
My most anticipated game for 2016. I would pre-order for the extras but will wait for reviews.
Mafia on PS2 is bad for serious play, but stupid fun with cheat codes. Mafia 2 i found fun, interesting, and annoying. Overall i liked it and the music track a lot. Joe's Adventure is a must dlc.
Mafia 3 i hope is much like the good parts of Mafia 2 while improving on the bad and annoying parts. Although i was hoping for Vegas in the early, Rat Pack, 1960's N'Orleans 1968 cruising in muscle cars while Elvis sings Polk Salad Annie will be entertaining.
Never played the first two...yet. I assume that this game will be mediocre but I jus cant pass up the chance to drive around in muscle cars in Norleanss. Day one!? Prolly not sorry 2k
I really want to MS paint a yellow "101" on the back of image at the top of the article in paint and put a dog by his side.
Looks way more interesting than Watch Dogs 2.
Sorry, but isn't it telling nearly all gaming sites are avoiding making comparisons and talking about GTA5, especially valid as these developers share the same publisher?
Whilst one video preview direct from the development did say 'we share no tech with them or vice-versa', it's shooting, premise, game structure and mechanics are ripped straight from GTA......so why aren't there more questions leading up to final review.......baffling.
It DOES look very very good, but just because the driving in Mafia 3 isn't as prevalent as the 50/50 driving / walking split in GTA, it doesn't mean we shouldn't be making a direct comparison........
Odd.
