It's less than a month now until No Man's Sky is set free into the never-ending expanse of the universe, and to celebrate that, Sony's released the first video in a series explaining what you actually do in the game. The so-called Guide to the Galaxy will cover the four key aspects from the intergalactic outing: explore, fight, trade, and survive.
This first clip considers the initial bullet point, and depicts how you'll be able to travel freely around the universe, encountering a frightening array of flora and fauna, which you'll be able to name for others to find. We recently pondered whether the game will possibly be able to live up to the frightening hype that's built around it, and you can take part in the debate through here.

I wondered when a new trailer would hit. Lots of new footage in this! Roll on 10th August
Yes we can explore underwater! I love being able to search in watery depths in games.
Sean Murray has consistently said there are things that they havent showed yet & hopefully those things will be the icing on the hype cake that NMS has turned into.
I can't wait to play Pokemon Go on all those planets.
;P
@Deadlyblack You might well love ABZU then mate.
@JMillsDezign haha
So... what do you do?
@AhabSpampurse Upgrade ship, suit, weapon, explore endless galaxies, solar systems, and planets, dog fights in space and on planet, learn alien languages and trade with alien races, scavenge minerals and blueprints, join alien factions, battle alien faction, fps battle on ground, mine into planets for minerals, name all new animals/planets/fauna, journey to the center of the universe and all the other things they haven't told us about yet, lol
A few seconds of new footage here I see, really can't wait for this game and that sweet ps4 limited edition.
That was the best video they've released so far. Its looking really good.
@adf86 I can't wait to play ABZU.
I can't wait for the next video..."FIGHT!" That'll determine if I'll get this game. Ideally, I could discover a smaller rainy planet/moon, build myself a little base, and then proceed to wipe the planet clean of all life!
@Majic12 Yeah but is that it?!
I think this is my most hyped game now, overtaking when Red Dead Redemption was released. I can seriously see myself clocking up thousands of hours of gametime, just flying around looking at other planets, not even landing on them. Just flying low over the planet, letting nature run its course.
