Console bundles become a less interesting point of discussion the older a platform gets, but while we've been ignoring PlayStation 4 packages for some time, Sony's been quietly making them bigger and bigger. Take this 1TB bundle available from UK retailer GAME starting tomorrow: it includes Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, Bloodborne, and the Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls Collection. That's four games and a console for £349.99.
And, as seen on Reddit, it's even better in some parts of Europe, with Hungarians able to get all of the above – with Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Until Dawn thrown in in place of the Quantic Dream titles. So, that's six games out of the box. If we didn't know any better, we'd suggest that Sony's trying to shift stock ahead of the release of a rumoured 4K-enabled hardware revision. Oh, wait…

It appears that Sony feels the only way to make older models seem like good value for money without losing too much on the hardware itself, is throwing in a shipload of games in a bundle. It's always a trade off of course, but this means that the potential owners of these bundles will pretty much be set for the next 6 months (or more) and Sony won't be making any money on them in terms of software sales.
Still I feel it's better than dumping your consoles like MS does; because some retailers are offering a One with 1 or more games for less than $200, the value of the brand as a whole is undermined. For most casual gamers, the group both Sony as well as MS are targeting at the moment, paying $299 - $399 for a console that they saw discounted to $199 a couple of weeks/ months back won't feel right.
Want to move more consoles? Make Ape Escape 4!
@DLB3 Beyond Two Souls isn't that bad. Sure, it is fantastic as many expected to be but atleast it didn't suffer bugs, glitches and/or framerate drops like Heavy Rain remaster did.
Amazing deals I couldn't wait this Gen and got a PS4 day 1 with no deals
@DLB3 I agree...6/10! My main gripe was not being able to mess around like you could in Heavy Rain. Making your kid go to bed at 7p without dinner, or letting the robber shoot you....there weren't any similar, hilarious defining moments in B:TS (except maybe leaving your apartment looking like a trashcan before your date and not dressing up appropriately, with disastrous results).
Yo! Shift these to Ireland, I'm in search of a new PlayStation 4
