Hellfire Games previously made a city-builder type minigame for PlayStation Home, so it's no surprise to see it adapt that work natively for the PlayStation 4. Big City Stories is a city-builder in the same vein as Sim City, with one big twist β once you've constructed your dream town, you can drop down into it and explore it from a third-person view.
This means that you can create a character, stomp the streets, and even test out your traffic network from behind the wheel of a vehicle. There are minigames for you to try, and you can even visit a friend's city if you like. The game will launch as a free-to-play title in North America starting next week, with additional regions to follow down the line.

Hmm Simcity has always been one of my favorite games, and with this being free, I will probably check this out.
I wouldn't mind giving this a try.
would like to see this as a vr title, how awesome would it be to have a walk/drive around the city you created
I miss playstation Home. I always hoped it could have evolved and come in some form onto the PS4.Walking round the Home with a PSVR would have been good.
This game flew under my radar and i just viewed the trailer and video that details some of the creation features like creating your character. It looks interesting enough for me to follow post release reviews and game play videos.
@Sunnyviji absolutely awful; my cities nearly always have high taxes and I love sticking industrial in the centre of built up areas and watching the pollution counters get higher and higher. I always stick with coal power plants and when buildings start losing power I just waste the city with a natural disaster.
@Tasuki which sim city is your favourite?
@themcnoisy Ah so you're the one who designed Coventry.
@Rudy_Manchego Hahahaha π
I might give this a go though I would prefer Cities Skylines since that seems really good.
