BioShock has, arguably, one of the greatest intros to a game ever. But it's about to get even better as part of BioShock: The Collection, the PlayStation 4 remaster of the PlayStation 3 classic. 2K Games has truncated the amazing opening, and uploaded a comparison with its new-gen version. The differences, as you may imagine, are night and day.
While the remastered version perhaps loses a little of the low-resolution grime that defined the original, it really does make all of the detail clearer in 1080p. Moreover, with the promise of "up to" 60 frames-per-second, everything looks a lot smoother. The compilation – which will also include BioShock 2 and BioShock Infinite – is due out from 13th September, and we can't wait to play through it again.

That's not a significant enough upgrade to splash out on, in my opinion. Nice for people who have never played them, though.
Could never get into Bioshock 1, I know they are good games though. Look forward to getting this collection at some point!
Loved BS1, BS2 was good. Just got BSInfinite on Steam for 7 bucks just to play it through. Once this collection is down to 30 bucks it's awesome value. For people who have never played it, it should be an insta-buy!
I'll probably get this at some point, I love these games, especially the first one, and i've only seen bits of 2. The FOV is much better on the new version too.
Bioshock is one of the best games ever made cannot to play it again.
I am preordering and this will be most of my gaming for the rest of the year. As I have said time and again, I loves me some Bioshock.
Nah. I played these games to death on PC when they first came out. And the "upgrade" isn't terribly significant.
Never played any in the series. Will be a great sale purchase for me.
Bioshock: Jellyfish Edition.
Even though I have Bioshock 1 and Infinite on PS3 (bought them cheap during a psn flash sale), I've never played them. I'm definitely going to upgrade and buy the PS4 version. But probably not until next year. There's a lot of great games coming out this year. Buying Rise of Iron and Yo-kai Watch 2 in September, Titanfall 2 in October, and CoD: Infinite Warfare in November, and South Park The fratured but whole in December. Actually, now that I think about it, I might be able to get Bioshock the Collection late December. Never thought I'd say this, but there's too many games releasing too quickly this year, lol.
McKayla's not impressed.
I want the iPhone release of 1 to show up on the vita...
