A bit of behind-the-scenes baseball for you: Push Square Towers has been trying to unravel a mystery this week. We received a record in the post over the weekend by a band called The Class, which included an authentic copy note and more. The problem? We've never heard of the supposed Brooklyn-based outfit, and despite our best efforts, we couldn't find any reference to them online.
It turns out that we were conned by a PR team with too much time on its hands. The Class, it seems, is not a real band – but is the subject of Agent 47's latest assassination attempt in the new Hitman episode, due out on 16th August. You have to understand that this has been irritating us all week – we're sure that someone at Square Enix is feelin' friggin' smug right now.
"The 'Club 27' mission transports players to the opulence and splendour of the Himmapan luxury hotel and resort, situated on the Chao Phraya River outside Bangkok," reads the press release. "Your targets are rising rock star Jordan Cross, front man of trending indie band The Class, and Cross' family lawyer, Ken Morgan. Both are currently residing at the luxury hotel as the band finishes its highly-anticipated sophomore album."
The episode will include "all-new opportunities and disguises, plus over 65 different challenges unlocking new gear, weapons, and items". It's the fourth primary episode in the stealth series, with USA and Japan set to round out the series later in the year. You can catch a glimpse of Bangkok courtesy of The Class' "debut" music video, which is embedded above. And with that, another case is closed.

I wonder if you guys actually work in towers...if so is it adjacent to NL and how much bigger is yours to their small 3 floor office? lease
Seriously though this kind of marketing. ..well look at the ubisoft watch dogs bomb scare to see how random mail can cock up
@BLPs It's definitely a Montague/Capulet situation with those towers.
As for Square Enix. Their marketing department seems spot on this year. First the Chuckle Brothers, now this slice of coolness.
Do you think it's worth holding out for the full release, or are the live targets and other aspects worth the purchase now?
