With The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited's next downloadable content pack just around the corner, it's no surprise that the game's getting another huge patch on PlayStation 4. Naturally, the update adds the aforementioned DLC pack to the mix, but you'll either need to buy the add-on or have an active ESO Plus subscription to actually play it.
Even if you don't plan on grabbing the co-op focused Shadows of the Hist pack, though, the update brings a ton of fixes to the title. "This update fixes several performance issues including random load screens and low framerate, plus invisible NPCs or fixtures," the official patch notes state. Hopefully it'll put an end to the performance problems that we've been hearing about recently. If you want to check out all of the intimate details, be sure to click through here.
Oh, and there is one extra thing that we should mention: the patch weighs in at a whopping 19GB on Sony's console, so make sure that you've got room on your machine's hard drive for such a huge download. We've honestly lost track of exactly how large The Elder Scrolls Online is at this point, but we're pretty sure it's nearing the 100GB mark. Ouch!

I've been wanting to try this game but I've never seen it dip below twenty quid. After playing the quality A Realm Reborn for years other MMO's just don't feel as tight or refined.
@ApostateMage Definitely not as refined as FFXIV, but then I suppose it doesn't have a subscription fee requirement. Well worth nabbing if you see it cheap, though - it's a massive RPG that's perfectly playable alone.
@ApostateMage if you do not mind buying 2nd hand games it can easily be picked up for about £12. I love this game played it everyday since I got it last November and bought all the expansion packs. If you do want to buy the game you might as well buy the gold version of the game that comes out in September it will be full price but includes all the expansions except the one that is just about to come out. Not played FF but I do have the game so can not compare. But I would say for the price of elder scrolls online the content is amazing more than any game I have played. The only issue I have with the game and its not an issue for me because I have all the expansions. Is that if you do not want to play the extra DLC you still have to download it. The game is massive on the Hard drive but its one I would never delete due to how much you can do in the game.
Got the £90 edition last year for 40, played it one never again .
