Battlefield 1's beta is finally live on the PlayStation Store, weighing it at a rather hefty 6.5GB. The client is completely free to download – you don't even need to pre-order or anything like that. It includes two modes: Rush and Conquest on the Sinai Desert map.
It's worth pointing out that your progress in the beta won't carry across to the final game, but if you hit Rank 15 (or play on each of the beta's four days), you'll unlock an exclusive dog tag in the final release. Cool beans, eh?

I found it by searching on PSN Store but did not find it in either in the free to play or demo section. I guess they are in the process of adding it now and will appear in its proper place.
might try that later tonight
I've never played a battlefield game before, but with all the hype surrounding this game, I might as well give the beta a go. Not sure if it's gonna be my cup of tea though
At least it's smaller than the Titanfall 2 beta.(17gb... x.x)
You can find it in "New Games" section on the UK PS Store.
I'm loving this, I've already pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition, at £110 it's quite expensive but it will justify for the amount of time I'm going to put in it. As expected it feels a lot slower than BF4/Hardline since we're using WW1 era weapons/vehicles but it feels right.
How long is the beta on for if anyone knows?
Not sure if I picked a bad time not got on once this evening so frustrating but I'll try again tomorrow.
I gave this a go last night, I didn't think there was anything new added to it, it is battlefield 4 with ww1 guns. I downloaded Verdun and that is much more what I am after, I had hoped DICE had gone back to the drawing board with this they have just changed the setting, nothing more. I'll stick with Verdun.
I heard the servers got ddos'd last night..
