Launching next month on PlayStation 4, Dragon Ball XenoVerse 2 is looking to improve upon just about everything that the first game did right, with the sequel's latest English trailer showing us what we can expect from the upcoming brawler.
Featuring gameplay footage that highlights story cutscenes, social spaces, and hectic co-op missions that see you take on powerful enemies as a group, it's probably the title's most informative video yet.

Are you guys coordinating w/ NL today? You put up the Media Create #s at the same time, and they just had DB Fusions?
Any word of a Season Pass? My son got the first only after it dropped to $30 so he could spend $25 on the season pass. He's looking at this for Christmas this year b/c there really isn't much else he wants, which is crazy, b/c Christmas is usually jam packed w/ games he wants, but not this year. (A lot of that is probably Nintneod switching games we should be playing this holiday on Wii U onto NX next year.)
@rjejr the game has a season pass but i'm not sure on pricing
@FullbringIchigo Thanks, I missed it in the vid there at the end. Game releases in a month and they announce a season pass w/ no price. I know I'm gettng old and cynical, but really, gaming has taken a turn for the worse.
Does PS+ go up tomorrow? I need to go buy a card today if it does, almost forgot. That question isn't for you, it's rhetorical thinking out loud.
@rjejr which country are you looking for pricing for? I know here in the US it is $30
@FullbringIchigo did you ever get the platinum on the first Xenoverse?
@vegeta11 $30 for the season pass? Man, I think I'm getting too old for video games, that's half the price of the game.
@vegeta11 NOPE, i still cant get the one mission ti drop that last damn special move
i think my game might be glitched or something
@rjejr UK price is £19.99 apparently
@rjejr
Key word, "half". A lot of season passes now are the price of the game.
But I hear you. That's why I ignore season passes unless it's a game I really love. Or in the case of me switching all my multiplats to X1 I'm just buying the Complete Editions with all DLC and season pass included. A rare opportunity for a chronic day one purchaser.
This game looks... strangely appealing. Still hate the art style of the characters though.
Ugh, i need to hurry up and beat the first one now. Well, i guess hurrying isn't needed, seeimg as how i was able to get the complete game for under $20 recently.
Think it's safe to say this really is just Dragon Ball Xenoverse 1.5. I'm cool with that though to be fair, just looks a tad light on new features.
