Beyond Good & Evil 2 seems to have been in the pipeline for an eternity, and now Ubisoft veteran Michel Ancel has hinted that the project may be back on. The Wild Sheep Studio founder β who's also working with Sony on the fascinating PlayStation 4 exclusive WiLD β posted a most interesting picture on Instagram today: concept art with the caption, "Thanks to Ubisoft for making this possible."
The picture shows what appears to be a piglet-esque Uncle Pey'j, who was protagonist Jade's primary side-kick in the original game. Even more intriguingly, Ubisoft France is directing people to Ancel's account. Now it could just be that the company has allowed the Rayman maker to share some concept art on Instagram β or it could be a hint at something to come.
There is speculation, of course, that Nintendo may be somehow involved in the project, and that it'll launch on the Nintendo NX. We'll have to wait and see if that turns out to be case, but given that the original was a popular PlayStation 2 game and its sequel was expected on the PlayStation 3, we'd like to think that the long-awaited follow-up will wind up on the PS4.

This is hilarious to me because,yesterday I started playing the original for the first time. Its not bad for a game released in 2003.
@KAPADO
I love it, I played the crap out of it til I had it 100%.
Hopefully not a Nintendo exclusive, I would very much like to play this game.
I have a feeling it's going to be a NX exclusive. Makes sense, it would appeal to Nintendo fans and some of the core gamers within the Sony-Microsoft spectrum.
I've heard it's going to be NX exclusive, so not sure if it'll wind up on PS4 or not.
Nintendo only surely
I hope it does appear on P.S.4 but hey Nintendo exclusive surely
I never understood the love for the first one, but I'm happy for the people who are excited about a sequel.
OMG Yussss, BG&E2 is my all time favorite game!
BG&E1 I meant ^
Thankfully for Jaxon, his loyalties don't lie with one platform in particular so regardless of platform, I'll get to play this. I don't miss the days of being a single console owner. Not one bit.
@Grawlog
That good eh?
I have it on GameCube, but I think I bought the HD 360 version on Xbox One when BC was announced for it. I played maybe an hour or so, can't remember too much. But I've heard great things.
I'll believe it when i see it.
