Okay, so maybe the Tokyo Game Show doesn't quite bring in the hits like E3 or even Gamescom, but all the same, it's a big event for those primarily interested in what Japan has to offer. With this year's show now only a couple of weeks away, publishers are starting to ramp up the hype by announcing what they have in store - and Sony's line up is looking pretty solid.

Of course, Sony isn't going to go ahead and list what it'll be showing during its press conference, so here's hoping for a few exciting surprises. Just off the top of our heads, we wouldn't be shocked if the likes of Dragon Quest XI, Ni No Kuni: Revenant Kingdom, The Last Guardian, and maybe even Dynasty Warriors 9 took to the big stage. Oh, and throw a new Dynasty Warriors: Gundam game in there for good measure, would you? Cheers, Sony.
Are you looking forward to TGS 2016? Are there any particular games that you're excited to see? Explain the process of turning Japanese in the comments section below.

I really enjoyed the conference of last year. Hoping to see some new suprises here, like a new Suikoden, Wild Arms, or dare I say it? The Legend of Dragoon 2!
I may be able to catch Sony's presser. And there's the NEO event too for next week. Then Paris Games week and PSX.. So many things to look forward to!
Bah. KH3 NEEDS some kind of info or a new trailer. Please don't keep us stuck til 2020.
Hoping the new Valkyria Chronicles has had a positive change since the demo. The Demo look way to Tales of...
@Octane I think Sony is doing its part to fill in all the gaps of NX news. Or its purposely not leaving any window for an NX announcement. One of those.
How are there so many FF games but no DQ games? Aren't DQ games huge in Japan, and aren't there usually about the same amount of DQ as FF games?
And as usual, no Dreams anywhere. Maybe it's a PS5 game.
three titles I may get, that's it out of the list. lol
Is it just me or is it pretty underwhelming?
@ztpayne7 they said winter so it will be around psx or d23
@ztpayne7 they confirmed a new 2.8 trailer
@rjejr But Nintendo is going to have its own multi billion NX reveal event that spans three weeks, right?
Too bad the game with the most ambitious implementation of VR tech thus far, DOAX3, won't be there.
@Octane "multi billion NX reveal event that spans three weeks,"
Or a 30 minute Ntinedo Direct that spans 30 minutes. One or the other.
I would love a new update and release date for Danganronpa V3. I assume they're focusing on the anime right now but I'm flying to Japan in summer so it'd be great to have something to play on the flight over
Ni no Kuni 2 or gtfo, nothing else matters
Fate/ extella for ps vita and ps4 (also sony promoting the vita I hardly believe it ,even though it in japan)
Need some mech games on PS4. Gimme some Armored Core!
