Summer Lesson won't be the only risqué virtual reality release on PlayStation VR's docket in Japan. At the Tokyo Game Show this week, D3Publisher has announced Happy Manager – a "love simulation" which will see you take on the role of an apartment owner, where three attractive young ladies just so happen to be housed.
The game's due out in early 2017 on the PlayStation 4, but only in Japan for now. You probably shouldn't hold your breath for a Western release.

@FullbringIchigo
@Ralizah Now this game, singing jazz girl would be right at home.
And there's nothing wrong w/ any game having it's own elements, but certain elements sell well, certain elements don't, and Sony isn't going to spend a lot of money promoting a game that probably isnt going to sell all that well in the west.
I never said anything was wrong w/ the jazz singing girl, I was only answering Sammy's question of why Sony isn't promoting this game very hard, and I think elements like that are why it's never going to see a huge promotional campaign like Uncharted does in the west.
The SJWS are going to have a field day with this I wonder if we can still get VR games from Japan the same way as we do regular games. This game is on the edge though very risky but they know it will sell big in Japan.
@get2sammyb @ShogunRok CEO of EA doesn't seem to big on VR right now.

@rjejr unless it sells boat loads then they will do a 180 and start saying how fantastic it is
@rjejr Oh, we're continuing the discussion here?
I just don't understand why a girl singing threw you for such a loop, but nevermind. I'm probably not going to be able to understand the logic behind whatever gut emotional reaction you had, just as you probably wouldn't understand the weird gut reactions and preferences I have. Different people are different.
I mean, I understand the reasoning (about Sony not wanting to extensively promote a game they think won't sell well), but if you don't promote something, it probably won't sell just because people haven't heard of it and don't know what it is. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy. Why not promote it enough that people who aren't regulars on gaming websites will have heard of it too and try to make more of a profit off what must have been a pretty decent investment in this game?
Sexy times ahead for perverted Japanese blokes.
Day 0 for me! shame on me? Certainly, but my waifu will love me even if the world hates!!! hahahahah
I don't know why, even with a wife I kind of enjoy this kind of game sometimes.
@rjejr Yet they are doing a VR add on for SW Battlefront. It's a start at least.
EA's right, I think — it's very early days. I'm not entirely convinced the future of virtual reality is necessarily in games either — it's going to be huge for education and stuff like that, though, no question.
AR and VR will both be big in the future, but what's releasing this year is literally the NES of VR. If that makes sense...
@get2sammyb "literally the NES of VR"
That only makes sense to me as everybody keeps hoping the NES Classic Mini does well just so they can all get the SNES Classic Mini they all want. I honestly couldn't tell you which games appeared on which system unless there's a 1 or 2 after the title, but your analogy makes sense in that regard, PSVR is the tech demo, PSVR2 on PS5 will get the good games. Or it goes the way of Wonderbook 2. Does PS4 have any Wonderbook games?
@adf86 "a VR add on for SW Battlefront"
I think that's more of a "me too" than actual game support. Like their "unprecedented relationship" with Ntineod.
@rjejr It's something at least, it's probably the only way Sony can get big publishers on board for now.
All three of those girls have the same face!
I'll certainly be downloading this upon release.
@SnowstormX The regressive left hate everything. Literally nothing that is expected to sell well will ever make them happy.
Sex sells.
They need all the luck in the word to sell them V.R. Helmets.
