This is a most pleasant surprise: there's a free Gravity Rush 2 demo available on the Japanese PlayStation Store. One catch: you'll need a PlayStation Plus account to nab it. Thankfully, we're going to show you how you can claim a 24 hour trial on your Japanese account, meaning that you can download this and give it a spin – all free of charge.

Check out the video above for a full playthrough of the demo alongside more detailed instructions of how to get it, but basically you're going to want to jump over to your Japanese account (here's how to create one) and attempt to upload a save file to the cloud. You won't be able to, but a prompt will appear asking you if you want a free PlayStation Plus trial. Once you've redeemed it, you can download the demo.

This sampler will only be available through 25th September Japanese time, so you haven't got a whole lot of time. It's definitely worth a look if you're a fan of Kat and crew, though – the presentation across the board is top-notch.
