Square Enix is working to ensure that Final Fantasy XV will look "beautiful" on the PlayStation 4 Pro at launch. Speaking with French website Gameblog, director Hajime Tabata admitted that the team hadn't had long to work with the hardware, but there will be a patch available for the souped-up system on 29th November which will "optimise" the title for the console and make it more "beautiful".
We did actually see a glimpse of the long-awaited title running on the PS4 Pro all the way back at the Tokyo Game Show, but apparently this was a demo tailor-made for the convention which only included a handful of the improvements that the developer is looking to implement. This is good news, because that version already looked absolutely stunning.

So glad to here this! I will have pro at launch but i will snag this and horizon around the same time frame after i get a 4k during tax return time! =)
Despite not having a 4K TV, this is why I'm getting PS4 Pro. Can't wait!
nice but i'm sure the game will look great on the Standard PS4 as well
Drooling :Q____
Is it november 10 yet?
The demo had poor framerate on regular ps4. Will they fix that, or will it be the first game that screams "buy a Pro to play properly"?
This is gonna happen in the run-up to the release of literally every title within the next year or so. Articles saying "we saw it running on a PS4 Pro with a 4K TV.. & we can confirm it looks stunning..!!"
Ps4 pro n this game together with my 4K sony,I'm ready!
"beautiful"
aaaarrrrrggggghhhhhhh that doesn't mean anything!!
I swear i just read a title about being bored writing about the uncharted movie. If you're bored from that, surely you must be ready to jump off a cliff writing redundant articles about how individual games will look better on the pro?
One of the few reasons to make me want a PS4 Pro.
Please just tell me that the frame rate will be better on Pro.
As we're getting closer & closer to Black Friday I'm becoming ever more tempted to pick up a 4K TV. From there it's just a coin throw for the Pro.
Must. Resist. Temptation.
When are we ever gonna get some side by side of the normal vs Pro. Of course games that haven't released yet look great on the Pro they do too on the original before they come out.
How are games being reviewed within pushsquare here on in?
On a pro 4k, on a pro 1080p or on a slim 1080p?
Hopefully reviews for the immediate future are based on the latter.
I'm playing Rise Of The Tomb Raider and that looks beautiful too and its not pro!So yeah,I'm happy with a non pro ps4 thank you very much.
@Wazeddie22 I agree, ROTTR looks beautiful.
I think It's bonkers to splash out out another £350 on another PS4 just to play the exact same games only prettier.
@Feena (wipes mouth, keeps drooling)
Weeping for joy! But will Sony release a PS4 Pro in white?
Considering the game already looks good, I'm sure this is a given.
That's nice, will still play little utter crap if the demos are any indication but at least it's pretty~
I'll be picking up Pokémon Sun instead.
@Napples I can see where you are coming from here, but there are only a handful of games announced that say: "This is why you need a PS4 Pro" Its nice to know, prior to November 10th, how big of a list that is, to know if its worth the purchase for you. For a game thats launching a couple weeks after the PS4 Pro, its likely a selling point for the Pro and for the game, to have these details.
