You can always judge the interest in a product in Japan by the size of its lines, and it looks like PlayStation VR has captured the attention of the tech enthusiasts in the East. The Wall Street Journal is reporting that many stores have been sold out of the headset since as early as June, with one man from Tokyo travelling 600 miles to secure a pre-order from Sony's official store in Fukuoka.
Incidentally, we're hearing that the virtual reality device is more or less sold out around the globe too, with stores mostly receiving enough units to fulfil pre-orders. As such, if you're interested in jumping aboard the PlayStation VR hype train but don't have an active pre-order, then you may be best off getting on a waiting list as soon as possible.
