As we get busier in the build-up to Christmas here at Push Square Towers, we've been slacking on the Push Rewind front a little bit. Fortunately, we've found time to put together this week's edition, which includes the latest PlayStation Plus lineup, and a bunch of our impressions from EGX 2016.

Destiny: Rise of Iron - 7/10
Unlike The Taken King, Rise of Iron isn't an essential reincarnation of Destiny, but it is an expansion that delivers on its promise of rejuvenating Bungie's shooter – even if it does refuse to step outside of the game's well established comfort zone. A few fun story missions, a great new Raid, and a suite of fresh reasons to get back to the grind for better loot should be enough to keep the ever-present darkness at bay.
FIFA 17 - 8/10
The Journey is FIFA 17's headline act, and it's a surprising success. The story of Alex Hunter is this year's centrepiece, and adds yet more value to the already robust and rock solid footie offering that we've come to expect of the series. What's more, the jump to the Frostbite engine has worked wonders as far as presentation is concerned. As accessible as it is comprehensive, FIFA once again proves that it's still a top performer.

Feature: PlayStation VR Has the Power to Elicit Real-World Reactions
There are two things that make virtual reality extra impressive: scale and physical reactions. As we've said so many times, you really need to wear the headset to understand just how affecting these assets are, but we also appreciate that it's not easy for everyone to get eyes-on time with the device. As such, we've already tried to explain in detail what the sense of scale feels like – but what of the emotional response?
Hands On: Could Horizon: Zero Dawn Be Sony's Next Big Blockbuster?
The best thing about PlayStation is that it's reinvented itself time and time again. Sony's original console was defined by Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon, but a contractual blunder meant that both series went multiformat. Sony had to reinvent itself, and we saw the introduction of Jak & Daxter and Sly Cooper. Now on its fourth home device, the platform holder's certainly not retiring all of its fan-favourite franchises, but it is refreshing its portfolio as it does every generation.
