We're not quite sure how it's happened, but apparently it's already approaching November. That means, the depressingly dark nights and cold weather are drawing ever-near here at Push Square Towers β but there's salvation in the form of the impending PlayStation Plus update. So, after the excellent October update which included Transformers: Devastation and Resident Evil, what are you hoping for?
We're expecting the Instant Game Collection update to be detailed next week, ahead of release on 1st November. New titles scheduled for that day include Super Dungeon Bros, Earth's Dawn, and Root Letter β though Sony has shied away from new releases of late, opting to dig into its archives instead. Would you like to see more of this from the format holder? And which titles do you desire? Plus up in the comments section below.

Dunno. Feel like The Order might make an appearance soon though...
Resident Evil 4
Sniper Elite 3
Steamworld Heist
The Last of Us Remastered
Something with PS4 Pro compatibility. Maybe Shadow of Mordor or The Last of Us?
Still hoping to see a game I actually want to download
In all seriousness, I can't complain at the 2 most recent calibre of offerings compared with the previous year(s). They may not have appealed to me or, in the case of Lords of the Fallen, been offered on GwG, the calibre and variety has given me some hope.
I can't say I am hoping for any game in particular - if I wanted it that badly, I would have bought it by now. The price of AAA games, the games I tend to be a LOT more interested in, that 'could' be offered are likely to be available relatively cheaply. I keep seeing Killzone:SF mentioned but that can be purchased for less than most indies on disc so hardly bank breaking.
@sketchturner I very much doubt the Last of Us remastered will be offered. With the Pro launching that month and the game getting a native 4k update, I would be surprised if Sony don't use that as selling point to generate more sales of the game.
A much as I like PS Plus games and think there have been some great ones I have only played Yakuzza 5 in the last 9 months. They just sit in the ever growing back catalogue. So anything is fine by me.
Might still be too early for them to do it but Im in favour of dropping it to 2 PS4 games, 1 PS3 and 1 Vita game if it means they can start to add a VR title each month. Dont have it yet personally but it'd be nice to build up a library like I did with my Vita
Something short, FF15 is only 1 month away!
I'm thinking Axiom verge or Devil May Cry.
I'll take Final Fantasy XV, lads. Cheers.
I hope we will get the legend of korra or tmnt. It seems like when we get a AAA game with plus we either get the same genre 2 to 3 months in a row or the same company. Look at the psp games, vn games, EA games and ubisoft games this year.
Knack..
believe in me , its watch dogs 1 and another indie , you can expect really amazing games in december , to boost ps4 sales for christmas
have fun
Just something good. A triple A game and a cool indie game!
For PS3 and Vita...some JRPG and like Dead Island? dunno
possobly tomn raider? maybe a sprinkle of KillZone? how about throw some free psnow remtals on there or even a free movie rental would e sweet, like the sony owned movies, sure they could make that happen easy. in fact, they should gove you an option to switch out one of your free games for a free movie rental if you want!
@Neolit How much fun is it seeing someone else use it, react and they take it off and just look like a kid in a candy store?
I just smiled like a loon when I first tried it.
So I agree, VR titles please
Shadow of mordor would be good for ps pro promotion.
Then a psvr indie.
Seeing as how an otome visual novel has been given out for the past 2 months, I think one of the free Vita games will probably be Norn9 Var Commons.
I want devil may cry 4 or dmc ps4.
Root Letter, heh. I don't think Sony is going to start giving away brand new $60 retail release games for PS+ any time soon.
Anyway, while I've never had a problem with what Sony's been releasing, the last two couple months have been a noticeable uptick in quality and I see no reason they wouldn't continue on that track. It might well finally be the time they offer up a full first party retail release. Knack, The Order and Killzone Shadow Fall all being strong possibilities. An older 3rd party game could be a possibility too. With Watch Dogs 2 out a couple weeks later it seems like offering up the first game would be a nice tie in with that. I already own all of those games myself, but I imagine any one of those would make some people happy.
Also, if they do offer up something VR, here's hoping it's in addition to the other PS4 games on offer rather than instead of one of them.
How about The Last Guardian as an apology for it taking so bloody long?
Mortal kombat x or the last of us or an assassins creed game unity/black flag
Something better than September and October, please.
Enter the gungeon
Alien isolation
Ziggurat
Jamestown
Final Fantasy 12 HD remake thingy, plz.
Enter the Gungeon sounds good too.
Yes, yes...The Last Guardian. It's probably a relatively small game.
The reviews will probably be harsh and there be much complaining about the delay.
Making it a Plus game turns a Con into a Pro and neutralizes the negativity.
If Hello Games abandons No Mans Sky, that would be great 5GB Plus game later on.
I think we'll get something like Unravel, and a racing game - and going on past discounts which mean loads interested will have bought already, I expect The Crew.
Anything unreleased VR would be a nice touch, but I think there's only one more VR game scheduled for October, if I remember right.
My ideal would be a couple of indies I'm planning on picking up at some point - Jazzpunk and Thumper. It's obviously not happening, but that would be awesome.
That or Doom. Or Mankind Divided.
I don't want much.
I can't see VR titles being part of the Plus games line up. What percentage of subscribers are likely to own the equipment or be in the market for buying one?
Seeing the number of unhappy commenters following each months reveal surely Sony are wise enough to not add to reasons for these grumbles?
Personally, I'd like a game that holds my interest for longer than that Transformers did. Would be happy with og Tomb Raider, RE4 or Divinity?
@stevejcrow If Sony were to offer VR titles on PS Plus, which is unlikely at this point anyway, I'm sure they'd treat it as separate hardware and not be foolish enough to offer such a game instead of one of their PS4 offerings considering the limited number or people who will own such hardware at this point or, indeed, at any point.
I think they probably will offer VR titles eventually assuming the hardware sells well enough, but probably not until mid-2017 at least.
The Witness would be nice, thanks!
PS VR games... π
But regarding recent history this will be a "weak" month in PSN, in turn this will be a strong one in LIVE. There has been an "rotating quality" in the services. Maybe some kind of an agreement/understanding between both companies?
Final Fantasy X/X-2 would be a pretty amazing one to tie in with the release of XV. I already have it but it'd still be a good idea. Or more realistically, FFVII (which I also have but not on PS4, on PS1 and Steam).
Outside of those, I'll just the the usual things of Knack, The Order, or Until Dawn. RE0 would also be a great follow-up to last month - and unlike REmake I don't already have it on PS4 (just on GC). I'd love Alien Isolation too.
So my preferred ones would be 2 of these 3: FFVII, RE0, Alien Isolation.
I would think that Bloodborne and Worms Battlegrounds for the playstation plus
im hoping for Gravity Rush or Dragon Ball Xenoverse because of the new titles. Watchdogs as well though i have it already.
@JamieH not a lot of people have a VR though, also why delete 2 games for one VR title why delete the PS3 and Vita titles when i play those titles aswell, that isnt good for the people who still only own those platforms. and ill be pissed off if they do.
