RIGS: Mechanized Combat League doesn't exactly bloom in single player, but we did manage to capture gameplay footage of a match that went to the wire while penning our review. This was a cup game, and was against a particularly tough opponent, so we reckon that our team – the Valkyries – held their own pretty well.
In addition to an entertaining match-up, this also shows off some of the title's mechanics, including the complex scoring system in Powerslam, as well as the various different modes your mech can enter in order to re-heal, or increase its potency in attack or on the ground. But will you be picking up RIGS at launch? Let us know in the comments section below.

The video of the PS staff hurling up their lunhes after the embedded RIGS match is only available on YouTube.
Be sure to watch it before they get striked by Burger King for copyright infringement.
@Boerewors
@Neolit There's actually an option that I've got disabled in this video, but you respawn by falling out of the sky!
Can you turn off the 'look to aim' in the options?
Such a shame this requires VR.
@UrNowMyMonkey No. You can turn off look to turn, but the aim is always determined by where you're looking.
I'm getting a psvr delivered tomorrow so I'm looking into which games to spend my money wisely on. In your opinion what are the best games out to buy for vr? I'm looking for longevity from the purchases I make as I don't want to play it for two weeks and then get bored of it. Res7 is the title I'm looking forward to most atm, and I really hope there's a sports champions vr in the works
@sketchturner it'll definitely be available in non VR in the future
Having that heads up display there all the time seems really annoying, you have to look around it to take accurate shots. What a weird design choice.
