Maintain a vigilant lookout, because Firewatch will be traipsing out at retail this year, courtesy of Limited Run Games, the company behind physical releases of various other niche titles. There'll be approximately 10,000 copies of the occasionally dark walking simulator manufactured, so you're going to need to camp out on the aforementioned publisher's website in order to ensure that you score one.
The game was recently updated with Free Roam support and PS4 Pro compatibility, so there's never really been a better time to brave the Wyoming wilderness. We liked elements of the original, but felt it struggled to match the highs of other titles in the genre, like Everybody's Gone to the Rapture and Gone Home. "Firewatch has the embers of a great narrative-driven game, but it fails to ever ignite into a furnace," noted our review.

Loved every moment of Firewatch, glad to see it getting some more love. As much as I enjoyed it though I don't think I'd bother with a physical version unless there were some nice extras thrown in.
I enjoyed Firewatch, it was a good experience, even if I had a few issues with story direction. However, was slightly grumpy that my lovely 100% got reduced when they released an update. Not sure I will revisit it.
Loved the game too, but it's not something I want to double dip for. I usually get physical editions over digital versions, but I own the digital version, so I don't really care about this one unfortunately.
Loved the art style and the pacing was a refreshing change but couldn't help but be disappointed with the uninspired ending...
Walk the disc to the console so you walk.
Would of been a great game for HDR so shame they didn't include that on the update.
