Bloody typical. Just days after you publish a review saying that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Special Edition actually runs pretty well on PlayStation 4, Bethesda goes and releases a relatively small update that causes the game to crash on a regular basis.
There are currently complaints all over the web stating that the title's latest patch is having a negative effect across all platforms. It's obviously impossible to say whether the update is impacting absolutely everyone, but given just how widespread the reports are, something has clearly gone wrong. Hopefully this gets fixed sooner rather than later.
Are you having any problems after the latest update? Be sure to shout at Bethesda in the comments section below.

JEEEEEEEEZ
Touch wood, no problems here so far
After last generation this doesn't surprise me, i wouldn't buy this game again anyway.
A Bethesda game, not running properly on a PlayStation System after an update
shocker
seriously you would think they could actually make a game that runs properly by now
I had it crash a few times before the patch but not after.
Haha, well it fixed the screen overscan issue I had.. I played about 3-4 hours last night with no crashing.
I thought it was just me... Literally, I installed the patch yesterday and within 10 seconds of starting the game it froze. Restarted it. 3 minutes later it crashed. 2 minutes after another restart it froze again. No issues after that for the next hour or so that I played
And people moaned that Sony wouldn't let external asset mods? Bethesda wouldn't know an optimised game if it wore a sombrero and did the rumba.
I played for about 5 hours after the patch with no issues so fingers crossed that keeps up
And THIS is the reason why I buy Bethesda games 6 months+ post release.
Traditionalists.
3 cheers for Bethesda for keeping up with tradition....
oh wait.......this is a rant section https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFMpySg_UrM
Raus
Well this sounds fantastic, and I just read this after updating. Sighhh...
I haven't tested yet if my game is broken, but stuff like this really does hurt my hype levels. A real shame too, I was really having fun. I think I'll just wait for a fix before I play again.
I think I read right here in Pushsquare that playing as a Nord you have 50% resistance to freezing...

Sorry...
@andreoni79 Lol that made me chuckle.
I played for hours yesterday without any issues. I wasn't playing with any mods active so maybe that is the issue.
@andreoni79 lol
@andreoni79 Yes! Classic.
@andreoni79 haha well my wife sure suffered the other 50%. We updated when she was playing and restarted and it crashed 3 times in a row. We disabled a few mods and then it worked perfectly.
Yep, mine crashed 3 times just after the patch installed. I've since deleted the game data (kept my saves) and reinstalled it without being connected to the internet so it can't update. Had a good few hours on it since with no problems.
@andreoni79 made me laugh mate, nice one
It crashed a few times on me before but not after. Weird
Knowing Bethesda, they'll find a way to blame the crashes on all platforms on Sony.
They remastered the PS3 edition in its full glory!
@Fight_Teza_Fight Sadly they've had 5 years to work out the bugs with this one
Mines been crashing for 2 days now, please fix this ASAP I want to play my skyrim hahaha
