Good news if you're suffering from the crashing issue that was introduced through The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Special Edition's latest PlayStation 4 patch, as Bethesda has a fix in the works.
Currently available on PC, an entirely new update reportedly fixes whatever it was that was causing the crashing. It's only a matter of time before the patch is released on consoles, and hopefully has the same impact. Oh, and it apparently fixes any weird water texture rendering that you may have encountered, which is a nice bonus.
It's certainly nice to see the developer attempt to correct its mistake so quickly, but it's pretty crazy that this was allowed to happen in the first place. Have you had to deal with crashes after downloading the latest update on PS4? Praise the Gods in the comments section below.

Coolio, Skyrim SE is in my backlog so haven't suffered anything yet, looking forward to jumping back in even more now. Until they patch it again.
Nice one, I did have one odd water moment.
I tried playing for about three hours today, didn't suffer a crash, but there was some major slowdown going on at one point for no apparent reason for about half a minute. Though obviously it might not even have anything to do with the patch. Hopefully this fix works then.
Just the 4k Pro frame rate to fix next then. I've put this one on hold until they sort all the issues out although knowing Bethesda they'll never truly fix it all.
Is there an ETA on when this patch will be released onto the PS4? As currently the game is now unplayable! Crashes everyone I load in after 30 seconds! :/
Crash, crash, crash. Not a good, or enjoyable start on my Skyrim journey. And the game looks awesome. Come on Bethesda sort it out.
