There are many reasons to upgrade to the PlayStation 4 Pro, but if you're someone who enjoys hosting live streams, then here's another: Sony's supercharged system enables you to stream in 1080p at 60 frames-per-second – a sizeable leap from the 720p cap of the original model. We had reviewer Alex Stinton test out the upgrade with Dishonored 2 overnight, and the results are staggering.
While you'd previously need to connect your console to a PC in order to broadcast 1080p streams, now you can do it direct from the device itself. Above you'll see an archived stream of Dishonored 2 running in 1080p at 60 frames-per-second on the PS4 Pro, compared to Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare which was streamed from an original PS4 console. The difference is stark, we're sure you'll agree.

Saw some Watchdogs 2 streaming today, was very impressed with the quality
@kyleforrester87 of you have Amazon prime you can snag watch dogs 2 using prime now. It lets you choose 2hr delivery in the UK.
It's hilarious how many people got their pro a few days late but this early. Amazon really need to sort their service out.
Or you can connect your base ps4 to a PC and record with more features to a wider range of platforms with no "blocked scenes".
Good for convenience poor on function. Cant even see chat windows without it being jammed into the stream.
@BLP_Software Well, yeah. Obviously.
@BLP_Software Sorry, but not really a constructive comment. The article even states that streaming via PC was and is a viable option. But for those of us who don't have a PC capable of running a stream or shy away from the extra cost, I think this added option in the Pro is a nice touch.
@BLP_Software wider audience is debatable. Maybe a wider potential audience but that hardly amounts to actual viewers. I would wager that most people interested in watching PS4 livestreams have a PS4, so you might net a few that dont have a PS4 but you will also lose quite a bit of PS4 users that dont want to watch it on a PC. I would call it a wash. You gain some, you lose some.
