It's been… An interesting week to say the least, so what better way to reflect than with a hot hearth and some video games? There have been a lot of new releases lately, so you should have no shortage of things to play. But what's keeping you occupied this time? Y'all know the drill by now.

Having splashed out a bit on a new 4K TV and PS4 Pro, I plan to spend some time this weekend playing through some titles which have been updated for the new hardware such as Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Ratchet & Clank, and Uncharted 4: A Thief's End.

The years are long, but it's always good to see a familiar face... Like Corvo Attano's! I'll be enthusiastically donning his mask once more (or play as Emily) as I step into the world of Karnaca this weekend. I also happened to pick up Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered, so if I have time, I'll be doing loads of shooting in between all the stealth and assassination.

I'm currently working my way through my backlog and making quite a dent in it. I just finished Valkyria Chronicles Remastered and I've moved onto a game that I've had downloaded for months but never got round to: SOMA. Killer robots and no means of self-defence are a scary mix. Outlast is up next so I'll probably be in the foetal position, crying to myself by Monday morning.

As well as continuing my playthrough of Skyrim, this weekend will be dedicated to hunting down a PS4 Pro. My local GAME has sold out of them so if I do manage to find one and in turn a 4K TV, I'll be picking up Dishonored 2 alongside it and revisiting The Last Of Us Remastered to take a quick trip down memory lane with even better graphics.

I'm still largely ignoring the bigger titles at the moment (though not exactly by choice), so I'm still knee deep in a couple of indie games. There's the ongoing challenge of Clustertruck which, while fun, I can't seem to play for more than 20 minutes at a time. It's Volume that has my main attention though, so I'll be thieving and whistling my way through the stealth-em-up this weekend.

It's going to be a FPS weekend for me. With Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, Zombies in Spaceland, and Overwatch keeping me busy.
So, then, what are you playing this weekend? Will you be blowing off steam after a tough week, or simply looking for a little relaxation? Let us know in the comments section below.

Skyrim and Everybody's Tennis for me
@kyleforrester87 I might play some Everybody's Tennis too now. You've tempted me.
Update: I found a PS4 Pro and a 4K TV! Dishonored and The Last Of Us Remastered here I come.
@get2sammyb it's pretty great, perfect way to show off my new PS Pro too
@kyleforrester87
@SkanetWasTaken Ahhh... Gone Home is such a lovely game. I'm welling up just thinking about it. <3
I'm throwing everything I can into my PS4 Pro, so lots of games this weekend. But also keeping an eye on the PlayStation Support Forums to help out those hitting issues with interfacing their 4K TVs to their PS4 Pros. The same community helped me out with my issues, so figure I can at least pay it forward a little.
I just got Battlefield 1 yesterday so I'll be playing that!
Oh Calcelmo, if only you'd have shown me your research then I wouldn't have been forced to put down all of your guards. Yep, I'm playing Skyrim.
Middle-earth Shadow of Mordor. A gem of a game that I've somehow missed, really enjoying it and plays smooth as butter on PS4 Pro (looking great, too).
@finalstan I guess I should play that at some point...
I want to get in some fighting games. Street Fighter V, Skullgirls, and King of Fighters 14 on PS4. Killer Instinct and Dead or Alive 5 LR on Xbox One. For the 3DS- Animal Crossing New Leaf, Monster Hunter 4, Smash, and a Kirby game.
Been spending alot of time on Dragon Quest Builders just lately so I doubt anything will change.Probably spend some time with Miss Croft too.
Still waiting for the Final Fantasy 15 demo to download in the meantime minecraft create mode.
Lol Kyle shame it didnt have the solo campain still a fun game.
I'm gonna continue playing Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest. I haven't played many fire emblem games, so I'm playing this on normal difficulty, but I refuse to play on anything other than classic. It probably sounds stupid, but I love the extra dimension of strategy it adds. I'm up to chapter 13 now, and loving every bit of it, far better than Birthright (which I still really enjoyed), and the map design and varied objectives are just incredible
I beat Earth Defense Force 4.1 last night. Now I'm back to working through Trackmania Turbo.
I got a handful of games I want to try on the Pro but Skyrim just won't let go of me...
Finished playing battlefield 1, now playing titanfall 2. After this rise of the tomb raider and world of final fantasy.
I like battlefield 1 single player story, I hope next year dice use the same world war one setting with more war stories.
Most probably I'll spend my time with Battleflied 1, Overwatch and World of Final Fantasy!
I'm playing this awful game called 'getting ready to move house next week'. Its hard, the levels suck and so far there's absolutely no reward for playing.
Seriously though, I'll squeeze in some Skyrim later on. Need my daily fix of gaming
Arkham City and Batman Telltale episode 3 on PS4. I played the demo of Job Simulator on PSVR and just got the full game. I love the humor and goofy gameplay. Definitely a standout of the VR launch games.
@get2sammyb Being anti-fantasy you'll absolutely despise the story and characters almost as soon as the game starts, guaranteed. Gameplay is pretty great, though.
After getting my Uncharted 3 platinum, I'll likely play Ratchet & Clank All 4 One, as I have two trophies left on that, after I catch up on Sonic Contest streams
No games.
Just enjoying having my new entertainment stand, new 4KTV and PS4 Pro all hooked up. Finally.
Gonna sit back and watch more of The Blacklist on Netflix via the TV app. Can't get over how gorgeous it looks in 4K.
Diva X, Rayman Legends and Picross 3D 2.
I got my bro Gone Home when it was "free" on PS Plus. Neither of us found any appeal whatsoever. We beat Ethan Carter and I will get him Rapture this month as he likes walking simulators.
Titanfall 2's campaign on my new Pro - Still waiting for my replacement 2TB drive so only installed 1 game for now....
Just finished Rise of the Tomb Raider and liked it.
From now until November 29th, it's going to be a mix of Rock Band Rivals and Skyrim.
Roll on, November 29th. Can't wait.
With the pro I started ratchet all over and I discovered it's really addictive game Earlier I merely scratched it and played few levels. When I finish Ratchet I will probably dive into battle zone again and try to beat it on hard also .
GTA V has crept back into the 'nilla ps4 somehow. Really need something new but like in the $20 range lol. I have been thinking about picking up the Mass Effect trilogy, but watching my mom play Dragon Age Inquisition it seems like it was kind of a rushed game. So hopefully the M.E. trilogy is a bit higher quality buut we shall see..
The witcher III, my favourite PS4 game 🙂 Also thinking about getting Bioshock collection and play that! Have a nice gaming weekend everyone!
Testing games on my PS4 PRO, but I think I'll settle down from some Tomb Raider and Dishonoured 2
@SonuvLiberty if you're looking in the 20$ range, Hyperlight Drifter, MGS: Ground Zeroes, and Towerfall Ascension are all great picks! There's a bunch of big AAA games on sale for really cheap in the North America PSN too!
Battlefield 1 for me. Really enjoying it so far. I'm rubbish at the multiplayer but I'm still figuring it out so I don't mind. Looking forward to Watch dogs 2 this week. Looks fun.
@Gatatog
I feel your pain. I eventually moved yesterday about 3 weeks after the planned move date. I left work early Thursday picked up my pro took 2.5 hours for game to check my old ps4 for their trade in deal. Got home had to download some games and patches as virgin not connecting my TV phone and broadband for 3 weeks. On the positive side when I do connect I'm getting 200mb broadband so should be quick going forward. Good luck with your move hope it's smoother than mine
@get2sammyb Don't listen to @ShogunRok, you will love it!
Also just finished off Fall of Cyberton, what a great Transformers game and wow I loved that last chapter.
Till all are one!
I just beat Knack. I have been trophy hunting in Uncharted 4. I may hold off on game purchases until black Friday. I really want to get Tearaway Unfolded and Gravity Rush Remastered.
Not much for me this weekend as working but any spare time I'm spending playing on skyrim....
Titanfall 2 campaign on the pro. To my eternal shame I have had to knock the difficulty down to easy twice for boss battles!
Having just finished Xenoverse 2, I'm now playing Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection which hopefully holds me over until FFXV (15 more sleeps!).
On Vita I'm going to keep plucking away at God Eater: Resurrection & as always I'm going too wind down my weekend with some PSVR courtesy of Rigs and Until Dawn.
Away again but when I get back I am looking to finally finish the Plat run on Bioshock 2. Might also do some work on Battlezone on PSVR.
Just finished the Titanfall 2 campaign yesterday. What an awesome ride! And it looks AWESOME on ps4pro
Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China - actually much better than expecting...
Titanfall 2 and Battlefield 1. What a couple of games!!!!
I've been trying to complete DBX2's story on my new pro this weekend. I may get a little Lego Force Awakens in today before football starts.
Skyrim and some Iron Banner on Destiny.
I've been playing Shadow of Mordor, just trying to mop up the last half dozen Achievements to 100% it but it's a bit of a time sink and I don't have the free time.
No games. only netflix:P Growing up isn't as fun as i thought.
@Bananaman678 Thanks for the suggestions I will definitely check them out. Except for MGS, I'm a pretty big fan of MGS so needless to say I played the crap out of it. I am thinking about picking up Dying Light Special Edition(or whatever it's called). As for those of you who haven't played Shadow of Mordor, the nemesis system makes the game worth buying. I have had like 2 orcs that kept whooping me and getting stronger. Their virtual deaths are on my bucket list.
Purchasing ps1 games on the store, spyro 3,thats pretty much it
