December's free batch of PlayStation Plus games have proved a divisive bunch, but we actually rather liked Stories: Path of Destinies and Invisible Inc, so they may yet be worth the bandwidth. Both titles β along with fellow freebies Hyper Void, Tiny Troopers: Joint Ops, Color Guardians, and VVVVVV β are available from the European PlayStation Store now.
If you're in North America, you may have to wait a few more hours until the PlayStation Store updates in your region later today, but there'll be good to go before bed. Which of this month's titles will you be taking for a spin first? Try not to get antsy about the offering all over again in the comments section below.

Why are sony offering the cheap stuff on the store i think by now they would be able to put out some newer games even the ps3 games that have come over to ps4 just a idea sony give the people what they want
VVVVV this was a big deal a few years ago and cant wait to give it a run through. Everything else can wait and I will see what I get for Chrimbo.
Stories and Invisible Inc are the only titles that have grabbed my interest this month, looking forward to trying them out at some point.
@themcnoisy Think that's about 7 years ago now, you're getting old
@Dichotomy I am middle aged bro. Either way I'm still looking forward to it π
i got 5 titles on ps4? not arguing however I cant find VVVVV or that'd be 6 games from sony. I wouldn't have bought any of them but 5 or 6 free titles to work thru over xmas cant be sneered at.
Tested the Vita availables today. To my pleasant surprise, VVVVVV turned out to be a metroidvania of sorts to boot. The soundtrack lives up to some talks I've heard, too.
Color Guardians hints at the promised challenge behind the veil of cuteness and simplicity. It actually took me three tries to get all stars in the tutorial stage, although it may have something to do with me sucking as well. XD The only eyebrow raiser was the update that's the size of the app for some reason.
Tiny Troops struck a nice nostalgic chord, feeling like a spiritual successor to Cannon Fodder in some aspects. Probably minus the vehicles but apparently plus more convenient controls than what I dealt with on Sega Genesis way back when.
@x2gunz360x I suspect publishers have a say in this, too - they do in the case of sales AFAIK. So if, say, Rockstar doesn't want to see GTA5 on PS Plus yet, then between them and Sony it's not much use complaining and pointing fingers towards Microsoft. Indie games are cheaper so their authors may be in more of a position to bank on the opportunity to attract and interest a wider audience in exchange for smaller returns. And all the "cool, I probably wouldn't buy this otherwise but will try now" comments may only fuel this impression.
Stories is FREAKING AWESOME!
And I tried the starting level of Inv Inc and thought it was a pretty solid game! Happy with those 2 games
Tried Invisible Inc and loving it and um..even loving that Colour Guardians..
Will try the others at some point but I'm definitely happy with this month
@themcnoisy It's the standard thing I do these days, refer to something a decade old as something from a few years ago, definitely a sign of age.
Hope you enjoy it, seem to remember I liked it and then stopped playing it for no real reason
@Dichotomy haha Yeah I do that too.
I'll stick em in my library and probably pay them one day, with FFXV and Ark i'll be busy for a while though. Can only hope next month's is a bit more tempting.
Not a single shred of interest so I will not enjoy.
I picked up EGTTR last month but I think I hit a glitch as I couldnt progress sadly.
Still, maybe next month will have something for me.
Have been playing Stories. Great Game. Reminds me of a choose your own adventure Bards tale. Fun mini rpgs with some good humor.
