Are you enjoying Gravity Rush 2? Good, because there's lots more on the way. In a recent interview with Famitsu magazine, director Keiichiro Toyama revealed a little about the game's free expansion pack, which will focus on the story of Raven rather than series protagonist Kat.
"It will depict what happens to the ark left over at the end of the previous game and the children," he said, as translated by Gematsu. "At first we wanted to put it in the main story, but we decided to cut it since those who didn't play the previous game wouldn't understand it. Taking your time playing it will take about five hours."
Seeing as Gravity Rush 2 is already a very meaty game, this is going to extend your playtime by a significant margin. Great news for fans of the franchise!

@get2sammyb if you had to choose between GR2, Yakuza 0 or Resi 7 which one would you pick?
It's mad just how much content GR2 actually has. I've got 11+ hours on it, but I've not even hit 20% story completion and there seems to be a ton of side quests. Now add 5 hours of free story content.
Overwhelming. I had the plat for GR remastered after 12 hours.
I have a feeling this is going to cut into my Nioh playtime...
It's great to see the free dlc we were promised and that it isant just an extra ten minute mission but a proper meaty extra..
Not that I have this game yet but looking forward to it.
Took me 50 hours to do everything, can't wait for more
Haven't started gravity rush 2 yet, still thinking do I play yakuza 0 first, or this game..
Im 23 hrs in and at Ch 14. This is an AMAZING game and adding 5 hrs to that? YES PLEASE

If you don't mind me chiming in, since I have all 3 as well, I'd say Yakuza Zero for sure. Past Yakuza games have been a bit of a 'slow burn' at the start, but I feel like this one gets going right away. As long as you don't mind random brawling and grinding (which I actually find pretty appealing the way it's done in this series). I'd say this is as a good a purchase as you can make. The combat is super satisfying. If brawlers aren't really your thing though, I'd say out of Gravity Rush 2 and RE 7, it depends what you're looking for. Both are great games as well but about as opposite as you can get. If you want a return to good old, survival/horror, RE 7 is the way to go. But Gravity Rush 2 is packed full of content, a great open world to explore and colorful cast of extremely fun characters. Gameplay is a bit repetitive but the good stuff about the game more than makes up for it.
If you have any interest in the series at all though, I say go with Yakuza Zero, it's just phenomenal. I can't recommend it enough.
@themcnoisy I had to make that choice and I ended up buying Yakuza 0! I'm very happy with it...the game is great, story is fun, fighting is well done and the mini games are awesome.
I LOVED the first Gravity Rush, but I kind of want to see what all the fuss is about RE7 first...so unfortunately this game will have to wait
@AFCC @Star-Lord @Gamer83 Thanks team Yakuza 0 it is.
Gravity Rush 2 is a huge game. Much more than the original. Considering we probably won't get any more games in this series, I'm glad it's going out with a real bang.
This is only thing they didint answer in the sequel cqnt wait for it
If someone who didn't play the first game wouldn't understand the DLC, how much of the main game would one understand if they didn't play the first game? I kind of assumed I would need to play GR sometime before buying GR2.
I've been holding off cause £50 is a lot but this have won me round.
this game deserves more love and attention. It deserves more sales! i was saddened to see it didnt even make it to the top 10 in UK charts. I dont know how it's doing in America but not great probably. consumers aren't buying GR2 at high enough rates. we gotta support it so that we get another GR game.
