If you're a collector looking to collate complete PlayStation 4 or Vita libraries, then we wonder whether Limited Run Games is proving a blessing or a curse. On the one hand, it's awesome that so many niche titles are getting rare retail releases – but ensuring that these super special packages make it into your collection must require real dedication to the cause.
Anyway, the label's set to pop three more digital outings into boxes this month, with Aqua Kitty DX (PS4, Vita), Curses 'N Chaos (PS4, Vita), and Oxenfree (PS4) all set to get the retail treatment in January.
As is the case with all of Limited Run Games' output, these will sell out shortly after being made available, so make sure you keep eye on the company's website so you know when pre-orders are going live.

As much as I love my games to be in physical format, I don't have the time, dedication and enough disposable income to keep track/purchase all of these limited editions that interest me. I'm thrilled to see this becoming a trend though, as I think it's a chance for indie gems like Oxenfree to have a more lasting presence, so to speak — we never know when digital games will be pulled off for digital stores these days.
It's a curse for sure. I do always like to see good games get physical releases though.
Well damn. I actually found myself thinking/hoping Limited Run would do Oxenfree on several occasions in the past few days. It's like they read my mind!
Why not put up a preorder with pay up front so you can sell even more.
I'm not a collector by any stretch of the word - but they are tempting, Vita games will surely hold their price going forwards especially these limited edition runs.
It'd be good if they did this for the Ace Attorney games on 3DS, including the original trilogy collection.
As for Curse and Chaos, I wanted to play it when it came out but I decided to wait until it's on PS+. It's a definite Plus game eventually, hope it won't be too much longer.
