Previously a PlayStation Vita exclusive, Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls is bringing an army of evil bears to the PlayStation 4 later this year, publisher NIS America has announced. Unlike the main Danganronpa games, this spin-off fuses its visual novel roots with action and adventure, as you steadily shoot your way through a post-apocalyptic world. We reviewed the original release back when it launched in 2015, and thought it was rather good, if completely mental. You can read that through here.
Anyway, the port's coming to Sony's home console on the 27th June in North America and the 23rd June in Europe. Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair are also heading to the PS4 in 2017 as a remastered package named Danganronpa 1&2 Reload, so there's plenty of madness to go around. Oh, and Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony is releasing this year, too. Jeez!

I put this game on my Christmas list the year before last but I ended up getting Danganronpa 2 by mistake (which I had already) so really pleased that I'll get to play this on the PS4 instead
This game had a really good story and characters, but the gameplay was truly awful! That being said even though it was awful I didn't mind it too much, and still very much enjoyed it. Great story and gameplay that is so bad it's good.
I wasn't sure what to expect, but the game pulls off the third person horror shooter thing pretty well. There are fun "puzzle rooms" that reward you for dispatching rooms full of enemies with maximum efficiency as well. It's probably my second favorite DR game, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who has already played the first two games.
I put off getting this on the Vita because I still hadn't finished DR2. Well I still haven't finished DR2. I'll be getting DR1&2 on PS4 and will actually finish both of them this time so I can then go on and get this game at last.
