This is one of those news stories with both a good and a bad side: DiRT Rally, the critically acclaimed PlayStation 4 simulation racer from Codemasters, is getting PlayStation VR support – but you'll have to pay for it. An update is due in the coming weeks which will open up virtual reality across the entire package, though it will cost you £9.99 from the PlayStation Store.
To be fair, the publisher does appear to have put plenty of work in here; there's a new co-op mode which will see one person acting as a co-driver, directing you with the DualShock 4 and television, while you use the headset to immerse yourself in the cockpit of your car. Is this something you'd be willing to pay for? Take a long easy right into the comments section below.

I'm not so sure about this one. It seems like a title that will easily cause motion sickness. More so than other VR driving titles due to the uneven courses, drifting, crashes. I'm hoping I'm wrong as, someone who doesn't suffer motion sickness, I'm a big fan of rally going back to the 1st WRC.
Such a difficult game.... I'd LOVE to play this with VR and a decent wheel.
I'll gladly pay a tenner for Dirt in VR. So cool. Hopefully I can stomach this ...
I can handle lots of movement. Bring it on.
Only ten quid! I would be willing to buy the game again just for the VR support. The series lost its way a wee bit when they dropped my national hero's name from the title and went down the stunt/gymkhana route....This latest installment goes back to it's roots of rally simulation and VR can only improve upon the experience. Can't wait.
