Hideo Kojima's busy building LEGO rather than Death Stranding, and his latest project is complete. The auteur's love-in with Guerrilla Games goes on, as he's created Aloy and a Tallneck from Horizon: Zero Dawn using the popular Danish playthings. What more is there to say?
Well, we're going to have to pad out another paragraph, so we'll remind you that Kojima Productions is leveraging the Dutch developer's engine to create its aforementioned PlayStation 4 exclusive, hence the close relationship between the two companies. Pretty cool, huh?
Licensed LEGO sets are all the rage these days, but are there any PlayStation franchises in particular that you'd like to get the toy treatment? We reckon that a The Last of Us set complete with Clickers would be pretty cool – or perhaps God of War with a bearded Kratos and some crazy mythological monsters.

Horizon opens itself out for a licensed Lego set with its mechanical beasts. The Last of Us and God of War, not so much - at least I don't think so. I guess God of War more so with its monsters but in terms of building them from Lego, I can't see them being 'buildable' like the creatures of Horizon.
Most games you could recreate without needing to buy a specific set, they have conventional characters and vehicles that you could recreate/build. Even Kratos could be created using a standard set and a bit of paint.
While not really a playstation exclusive license I would love to see borderlands lego.
Currently my money goes to lego, about €150 per month, I didn't feel like buying games recently other than ps1 and ps2 games.
I haven't bought Lego in ages, but I would get this in an instant.
I know this would sound stupid, but I would like to see a Bloodborne/Souls Lego Set. Or maybe Fallout or Elder Scrolls.
So Lego Horizon Zero Dawn to be announced at E3 then
@BAMozzy
TLOU has great scenes / environments that could easily be turned into an awesome Lego set. The university, the village with the sniper, any road / bridge with rotting houses, busses and cars.. throw in the heroes, infected, fireflies and other bad guys and it's fun for the whole family.
What are the chances of the Death Stranding game getting delayed and going over budget because Kojima was busy building Lego sets?
@blourf You missed the point! I never questioned whether anyone would want a Last of Us Lego set, I questioned whether or not it would be worth making one as you could pretty much make your own Last of Us out of standard lego sets. At most - a bit of paint to create the 'infected' but its not exactly difficulty to build a few buildings out of Lego to mimic Last of Us settings and use a standard character as Joel and Ellie. The infected could be created by a bit of paint - just paint the heads of a few standard lego heads but the majority of characters are human so you could just use any lego to recreate the Last of Us rather than actually bother making a specific Last of Us Lego set. At most, Lego could sell a character set but you could create the rest of the game by using any standard (as in 'not affiliated to Last of Us) Lego to create the world
Horizon though opens itself up more for a specific Lego set thanks to the robotic creatures. They would be a bit harder to recreate from most standard sets.
I'm not surprised that Konami fired Kojima now - I expect the MGSV budget went on Lego sets and he got no work done. Have you seen the price of Lego sets recently? I popped into a Lego store and the Millenium Falcon Lego set was over £130. If this keeps up, Death Stranding is going to take years and cost billions in Lego alone.
@BAMozzy
Gotcha. Good points. As someone who barely has any Lego, adequate paint nor the necessary skills, it would surely be more convenient to have a ready set for purchase.
i would love to have some official Horizon Lego sets, this looks fantastic!
WOW that is well COOL I would LOVE LEGO to do some other PlayStation Exclusive set in the future LEGO & PlayStation are my favourite two things in Life Oh and Star Wars and a few other things to
