Wowza, NieR: Automata Has Some Sweet Looking Weapons

Hacking and slashing, skewering and stabbing - NieR: Automata protagonist 2B certainly knows her way around a few different weapons, doesn't she? On display in the title's newest gameplay trailer, combat in the upcoming action role-playing release still looks stupidly slick as we get our best look yet at the android's impressive armoury.

what would be great is if it had weapons from other Square Enix games, such as Clouds Buster Sword

Mmmm, this game is bringing the frantic action hype. My PS4 will be nothing but a Nioh + Nier machine for the next couple months.

The enemies look so bland and boring...I can't get hyped for this game! I'll probably just play it when it's really cheap if I play it at all...

Cannot wait for this. Did you know if you swap your weapons around in your hands, the weapons well have a totally different move set.

This game has been on my wishlist for while not just because of the gameplay but the music and the story of the game. I just hope that the game isn't short and to easy to beat since I'm having hard time with nioh

Every time I see this game mentioned I think of my formal languages class because of automata. Game looks interesting enough, but doesn't really grab my interest. I guess I'm not as much of an RPG fan as I used to be.

I really enjoyed the demo for this and the combat is great, my only problem is that all the enemies basically look the same and I can't be certain if that would bother me after a while

@carlos82 Yeah, that and the colors always seem so dull. I still think it looks awesome and I loved the demo so I'll definitely get it sometime. I'm only worried it'll look even more bland after playing Horizon with all it's beautiful colors and landscapes.
