As expected, Destiny 2 will secure exclusive content on the PlayStation 4. Sony appears to once again be the primary marketing partner for Bungie's upcoming first-person shooter, which means you can probably expect bundles and much more.
It's not clear which goodies will be exclusive to the PS4 version of the game, but the disclaimer notes that the content will only be available on Sony's system until Fall 2018. To be honest, we're not huge fans of deals like this, but it's the way business works.

YESSS FOR THE PLAYERS!!
It's even more interesting is PC version is actually true.
PS really has knocked it out of the park with PS4 this generation . With all the Exclusives / timed content it's been clear PS4 is the console to have for gamers.
Rumours of a destiny 2 edition ps4 pro are probably plausible then
@kyleforrester87 I suppose they'd argue that this is a bonus for people playing on PS4.
I still think it's a bit gross, but I guess they're all guilty of it, and at the end of the day the exclusive content rarely adds up to much.
I'll be watching the PC version closely. I have it on PS4, but to be honest I'm hot garbage in FPS games with a controller. Destiny did a good job making me feel competant, but only to a certain degree.
Haha! Take that Microsoft!
@get2sammyb Timed content is absolute pants. Go full exclusive or go home.
@get2sammyb I much prefer these Sammy then companies money hatting for full exclusives in games they had no investment in. That's worse because that's just throwing money to keep a game off a system.
Please let this not disappoint. I had a lot of fun with destiny for about 2 weeks and then I just ran out of stuff to do. It was an amazing game but the cut content just did it in. Story and content have to be fleshed out and if they do then this could probably be an epic game gives death stare to Activision
Not surprising. With Activision already having a timed exclusive deal with CoD it only makes business sense that they would do it with Destiny as well. Now I am just waiting to hear the announcement for supply drops in Destiny 2.
@get2sammyb @kyleforrester87 timed exclusive haha, do they mean RNG
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi Word! I think I finally got Jade Rabbit to drop about a month before the timed exclusivity on Destiny 1 ended.
Most of the time the exclusive content is pretty lame. An extra fetch quest at best, or an extra character skin at worst. Whoop-de-woo. I think it's a crappy sales tool, but its not something I'm too bothered about.
That said, I think Crystal Dynamics shot themselves in the foot with Rise of the Tomb Raider. After a year of waiting, I expect many PS4 users are thinking, "fine, I'll just wait another year and pick it up for $20". I certainly am.
