Considering his story's over, we always thought a Nathan Drake cameo would be kinda crummy should it occur in Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, and fortunately developer Naughty Dog's ruled out the possibility. Speaking with the PlayStation Blog, writer Josh Scherr had the following to say regarding the potential appearance of everyone's favourite everyman:
"We entertained a few possible ideas around including Nate as a secondary character," Scherr explained. "But everything we did felt superfluous because we tied it all up with Uncharted 4. You can sort of imagine Drake sitting on the couch playing Crash Bandicoot while Chloe and Nadine are off gallivanting. Yeah, the Crash Bandicoot remaster."
As far as we're concerned, this is great news for the side-story – but less so for Nolan North's bank balance.

That's funny, I'll also be too busy playing Crash to play Uncharted.
I wouldn't worry about Nolan North, he will always get work.
I like Nate but the dude has had 5 games. It's the gals' turn.
Good. I think Nate's story wrapped up about as good as it could.
I'd be up for a new Uncharted game where you play as Drake playing Crash Bandicoot.
I hope someone else makes an appearance be it for a brief experience, like Sully etc
Who wouldn't be busy playing some Crash?
I think Chloe should pull out her wallet for gas money or something and have a wallet size photo of Drake in it, just to tie the games together.
Either that or have Chloe ask Nadine - "So, you manage to kill my ex yet?"
I hope there is 1 more uncharted dlc story, featuring sully and sam drake.
Fine with me. I'm a big fan of the Nathan Drake character but he starred in 5 games, perfectly fine to let Chloe have the spotlight. I just wish Cutter was with her instead of Nadine.
It needs its own identity and to prove it doesn't need Drake so I think it would be cheesy to have him in it. Sully or Sam though were left in that life so could appear or be referenced.
I have full faith it will kick backside regardless. It is a great way to test whether they can continue the franchise without Natey boy.
