It looks like PlayStation Europe's been paying attention to its pals over the Atlantic, announcing an initiative that will see you rewarded with PlayStation Network credit for… Spending PSN credit. Confused? Allow us to explain: if you pump €50 (or a local currency equivalent) into the European PlayStation Store between now and 31st March, you'll get a voucher for €10 back in the first half of April.
You can spend the money on whatever you like: Horizon: Zero Dawn, Mass Effect Andromeda, or even a handful of indie titles that you've had your eye on – it really doesn't matter, as long as you reach €50 in total. One caveat is that you'll only be eligible for one voucher code, so if you spend €100, you'll still only get €10 back. Still, this is a nice incentive to keep plugging money into the PlayStation Store. Will you be taking advantage of this offer?

@Bliquid Sadly not.
Any idea how long the voucher is valid for? Presumably you don't have to use it in april
These deals are great, since it stacks on top of other discounts.
Last week they had this in NA; I got MGSV 50% off, life is strange for 6$, deus ex 65% off, and crash bandicoot preorder... and will get another 15$ back on top of that.
@Mergatro1d if it's like the NA one, you just get the money in your wallet like any PSN gift card.
@Pocky Good question. You may have to refer to the terms and conditions. My guess is that you actually need to spend the credit.
@Mergatro1d Voucher Code Expiry Date:30 April 2017 at 23:59 (GMT)
does buying PS Now subs count ? i've just spent £39 renewing my sub on that so i hope so !
Is it £50 then in the U.K..? Horizon is £49.99. Clever little rascals. I'll have to buy another useless theme I was unable to preview before purchasing!
Tv/movies should count too, they do in NA
probably not. the only games i'm planning on getting in march are horizon (which i already have and paid £38 for on disc), and mass effect (which i've pre-ordered, also £38 on disc). i don't buy that many indie games really either..
@Jungkook thanks. Bit cheeky that isn't it?
@CFDennett Previewing themes ha, you're asking too much.
Ha, I remember doing an offer like this with PSN and Paypal, except Sony never gave me my bonus £10! The hassle and wasted time I had to endure to get the money was unbelievable and totally not worth it but it was the principle of the matter.
Won't be taking any more of their offers up that's for sure!
Sounds like the spend £50 get £10 free credit they did about 18 months ago. And since they didn't credit me last time, then put my PSN account on hold while they investigated my complaint for two weeks, I doubt I will ever be taking advantage of another of Sony's offers. Enjoy your free money everyone who does though
NB - I don't mean to sound overly negative and bitter, it was just really annoying last time and I don't want to do that again, lol
So first they overcharge you at least €10 on any purchase, and then you get 10€ back in store credit. Sounds like a great deal to me
