Ska Studios' outstanding Dark Souls-inspired sidescroller Salt and Sanctuary will finally arrive on the PlayStation Vita next week, the two-person team has announced. Ported by Sickhead Games – the very same team behind the likes of Stardew Valley on the PlayStation 4 – this portable version will be cross-buy with the console edition, so if you already own it, you'll be free to download it on your favourite handheld.
Here's what we had to say of Salt and Sanctuary in our review last year: "Do not underestimate Salt and Sanctuary: it'll chew you up and spit you back out, drawing from From Software's modern action RPG blueprints and translating the hard-as-nails gameplay to two dimensions. It demands your attention, never holds your hand, and rewards your patience and skill."

Finally!
Good on them for actually getting it out.
I regret not buying this in last months sale now, as I wasn't sure it would be cross buy.
Might actually get this now. Although I'm still not a fan of the aesthetic.
This game was LOADS of fun. I might go for a fresh playthrough to finally get the plat if it shares a trophy list. DEFINITELY worth buying!
Nice. Cant wait.
Also it's salt. not souls.
Cool. Fingers crossed it's a good port
