A busy week here at Push Square has seen PS4 firmware update 4.50 release, as well as several big titles arrive in the office. We'll be letting our hair down this weekend with some good old fashioned gaming, then. Here's what we're playing.

I really want to polish up my Horizon: Zero Dawn Platinum Trophy this weekend, as I'm getting anxious to play other games. To be fair I haven't got much left to do, but the final stretch is always the longest when it comes to Trophy hunting.

Drugs. Drugs are bad. And as everyone knows anything bad in this world can be eradicated by a liberal application of violence. Consequently, this weekend will be spent serving up hot lead to Boliva's filthy narcos – while also crashing plenty of helicopters – in Ghost Recon: Wildlands.

I'll be at PAX East all weekend, so I'll be playing too many games to even count.

There's another open world calling, just to the left of my PS4 – but I'll be sticking with Aloy for now. Also the new Boost Mode is just an excuse to crack out Bloodborne again.

This weekend I'll be continuing my 100 per cent run of Hitman, cleaning up the rest of Sapienza's challenges before moving onto the bustling markets of Marrakesh. I'll also be tapping into my inner creativity (I probably have some somewhere) with LEGO Worlds.

Another weekend, another chance to roll around in the grass with Aloy [Haha – Ed]. Other than that I think the two of us will take turns dominating… Nearby tribes and mechanical beasts. Outside of my little fantasy world I'll actually just be playing Horizon: Zero Dawn.
Stephen Tailby, Reviewer
After an extremely hectic week, I'll be playing as much Horizon: Zero Dawn as I can get away with. I'm absolutely loving Aloy's adventure so far, but haven't played nearly as much as I'd like. I may also hop into PlayStation Plus freebie Severed on the Vita if I fancy a change (or if I'm forced to leave the house).

This weekend the majority of my game time will be with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild as I seriously can't put this game down. Other than that now that I have access to a lot of my games thanks to a 5TB external hard drive I will be revisiting some that I haven't for a while like Mortal Kombat X and Borderlands 2.
Enough of our jibber-jabber, it's over to you: what are you playing this weekend? Let us know in the comments section below.

@toon_lonk1 Enjoying it?
Persona 4 Golden, Dariusburst and like @quintumply the igc Severed. All on Vita! Love this little device.
Horizon: Zero Dawn
What do y'all think of Severed? I gave it a 6/10 in my review but I feel like most other people love it.
I really want to get back into Ghost Recon Wildlands after not playing since it was released on Tues. However, despite really enjoying GR, I can't seem to tear myself away from Horizon. I dont think its this 'omfg its brilliant' game that a lot of people seem to see it as but something about it is strangely compelling.
I still can't believe that in 2 weeks I'll actually be able to write "I'll be binging on Mass Effect Andromeda all weekend". Seems unreal that its so close.
Since I finally platinumed Horizon Zero Dawn, I plan on continuing Breath of the Wild and starting Nier Automata.
Finishing up the greatness that is Horizon Zero Dawn.
@get2sammyb I like it a lot, but I always loved dungeon crawlers. It is not one of the better games in the genre, but it is also not a bad game.
Not sure yet - missing Horizon: Zero Dawn as I have the platinum trophy and after playing that, I have not been 'inspired' to play some of my other games. Of course I could jump in and just run around killing things, maybe try to locate a few more datapoints but having completed all missions, side quests, hunts, corrupted zones, bandit camps etc, I don't have anything 'specific', no real objectives...
Therefore, I don't really know what I will end up playing.
Just spent 3 hours sorting out insurance renewals, utterly awful. Time for some Neir, and probably Horizon.
I'll be alternating between Horizon and The Witcher 3. My plan was to put Geralt' s adventure on the back burner while I finished Horizon but I couldn't do it. It's just too good!
For me I'm picking up Horizon Zero Dawn at the proving and will also try to finish my last 3 expert missions in Xenoverse 2
No games for me this weekend
Since buying Horizon I have hardly given time to anything else so this weekend I'll be tearing myself away to go back to World Of Final Fantasy and may even have a look at that Dangonronpa VR..
Of course that's the plan anyway but Aloy is very needy..
Lego worlds loving it .
My PS4 busted itself trying to update itself on 4.5 so it's Vita and 3ds action for me. Been playing Zelda: Link to the Past s good bit so more of that and might start Trails in Cold Steel on my Vita
PS4: Horizon Zero Dawn, Nier Automata
PSVita: Persona 3 Portable
I'm about 12 hours into Horizon & I'm loving it. The world is so rich in detail, its staggering really. I'm so into the story and world. Also the side quests are genuinely fun & intriguing. I'm playing on very hard and if I don't plan out an attack before tackling multi enemies I get slaughtered. Such a thrill when a attack plays out perfectly.
Also picked up Nier Automata today. Hoping to give that a go after work today.
Still playing P3P on vita. Approaching 60 hours & still no end in sight. This is a seriously long game. Persona 1 & 2 took me less than 25 hours each. Still loving it & to date my favourite 'vita' game.
@get2sammyb Loved Severed. One of my favourite games of last year.
My Switch hasnt arrived yet and Diva F2nd just refuses to give me the last 2 trophies. I will check my backlog to find something to play.
@get2sammyb I would give Severed the same score, it's good, it's not great. I don't know, I just couldn't really get into the game.
As much as I hate racing though games, i am trying to finish up zelda and Horizon before the end of March, so i can at least get started on Andromeda in April. I can see myself 100%-ing Horizon, but not zelda. 900 koroks is way too many.
I'll be playing EDF! this weekend and probably some Diablo III.
I'll also be playing Miami Nights: Singles in the City on the DS...Why? In our video game podcast we have a trash bin segment, where the other two cohosts pick out an awful game that I have to play.
I hate them...
Still playing and still loving Horizon Zero Dawn. I'm 91% complete and i don't want it to end.
I will mostly be on PS4 this weekend with Yakuza 0, WWE 2K17, Street Fighter V, King of Fighters 14, and Skullgirls. Monster Hunter and Animal Crossing on 3DS.
Don't really know. Might just have more Tekken practice. I'm in a weird mood regarding what I want to play. I might end up not playing anything.
Finished up Deus Ex Mankind Divided this morning, which I really enjoyed by the way. I am now going to replay the Uncharted series from start to finish woohoo.
I actually need to get on the Xbox One and play GTA 5 and Dead Rising 4. I just don't feel like it though. 😑
Yup, more Horizon Zero Dawn. Love this game!
I've been playing Breath of the Wild pretty much non-stop since I got it. INCREDIBLE game.
PS4-Horizon Zero Dawn
Switch-Zelda Breath Of The Wild
2DS-Pokémon Omega Ruby Version
Still playing Horizon. Currently have 34 hours put in and at level 28. Having a lot of fun! 😀
For those who have Platinumed the game, are there missable trophies? I didn't want to spoil anything by looking up the hidden ones and I know I've seen atleast one person say they'd need to replay the game for something.. 😕
I've pretty much cleared last year's back log, so may play a few old games on boost mode this weekend, maybe battlefield 4 drive club and cod advanced warefare then I'm going to get a game from This year as I've resisted buying anything yet. Probably be horizon zd.
Struggling to get time at the moment with a 13 week old baby teething and been a bit ill, so if I get on it shall be playing some more Horizon
Nearly finish playing transformer devastation.
I just finished Horizon and man...I loved it! Everything was great...story, graphics, music...it was a great journey! I'll try to get plat later...Can't really believe that after all the waiting and hype I already played it, but I feel satisfied with it, one of the contenders for Goty, surely!
Maybe now I play some Overwatch ranked and For Honor next... and I want to try Earth Defense on ps3 xD
Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Shovel Knight. When I get home from being out of town, Horizon: Zero Dawn.
I want to finish far cry primal so i can go to the next game, but it's a bit longer than i espected 😂 so I'll be playing it all weekend probably and a bit of smite in the middle of course 😂
@get2sammyb Its a 6/10.
Novel enough to hold your attention short term. Although those same mechanics gradually irritate.
Horizon, a bit of Destiny, and had a go of Disc Jam with a friend last night. It's... well it's crap, but it's enjoyably crap.
PS4 - Currently alternating between co-op and single player with Ghost Recon. Must say I'm enjoying what I've played so far.
Vita - Finishing up Trails of Cold Steel 2
I feel like I'm very near the end of The Witcher 3, finally. Hopefully this weekend I can finish it and see my family again. I'm told my kids are all grown up now.
@ArkhamKnerd Awesome! Im at 40.5hrs and lvl 30. Im going for the Plat too.
@ArkhamKnerd I am almost sure no trophy is missable
@AFCC Thank you! I really don't want any of the story ruined for me and knew if I tried looking anything up I would end up seeing something. I learned that lesson when I completely ruined Bioshock for myself haha.
Massive weekend at work for me so no chance to get out with Horizon. Got my vita with me for limbo or severed though
Horizon; trying to push through the story, it's starting to drag with all the audio clips and such.
Horizon and Nioh, amazing games! Really just got into horizon yesterday...wow, is all I can say.
I've finished Horizon and now there's only one thing left to do...start it all again on my alt account. Some people say the story is poor but I really liked it, it's actually terrifying when you think about it.
@doctommaso I take it you don't engage in stories in games very much, you cutscene skipper.
Horizon: Zero Dawn and Arkham Asylum. Beat that!
Alienation, great game thinking about buying No Man's Sky, Deus Ex and Moidheim City of the Damned next week on the cheap in the PS store, you can get all that for just under £60 atm (if you have PS+), should keep me busy for a while. It's actualy just under £50! sold! That's with the season pass for Deus Ex as well, whatever's in that lol.
@ArkhamKnerd I know that feel! But yeah according to guides no trophy is missable, don't worry!
@ApostateMage the story is really interesting imo. It's just a shame that it all gets revealed like 2 missions before the final one and because of it the ending felt really rushed and meh for me...
@AFCC Yeah, I thought it felt a little rushed compared to the build up of the big revelation but I still enjoyed it because, for me, the combat never got old.
Ghost Recon Wildlands. Probably play this until ME Andy.
Uncharted 4 multiplayer. I got horizon and Nioh still in plastic. Im also considering buying a switch > misses wants switch but under strict circumstamces.. Short on money
@ApostateMage The combat against machines is amazing! Can't really believe they got it so damn well
@ApostateMage Haha no cutscene skipping. I like some story but not at the expense of breaking up gameplay; it's one of the things I don't like about typical open world games. But this one is particularly dragging now, with too many audio clips and other documents to have to find/listen to. I agree that the premise is horrifying, and that's actually partly why I'd like it to end sooner. lol
