If you didn't know, for the longest time EA has had exclusive rights to the Porsche license in racing games, but that deal expired recently waving the green flag for Gran Turismo Sport to add the favourites to its roster of racing cars. And the first screenshots of a Porsche 911 GT3 RS have finally hit the web, confirming the vehicle's inclusion.
In other news, the ongoing Gran Turismo Sport beta will finally reach the starting grid on Saturday in Europe. It's already been running a little while in North America, but those of you in the Old World will be recruited starting 14:00 BST on 15th April. If you haven't already, you can register your interest in the beta through here.

great i always hated that EA had the licence for them, kind of made the racers that didn't have them feel incomplete
Very good news! I'm not a big Porsche fan or anything, but that could be because I've never gotten a chance to use them in GT games. Absolute fantastic news for the series though.
Nice, brings back memories of driving round in a pink Boxster with Rachel!
Finally! Gran Turismo always felt incomplete without them. Be awesome to drive them in a sim racer.
Brings back memories of playing Porsche challenge on ps1
Now if only EA would give up the NFL license.
Awesome stuff. I used to love my RUF RGT's in the previous GT games.
@Tasuki haha I really can't see that happening anytime soon.
Great news, the more cars the merrier.
