Resident Evil 7's free DLC pack has been pushed back until an undisclosed later date. Not a Hero β which is set to feature series veteran Chris Redfield β had been set to release this Spring, but in an overly apologetic video, the expansion's producers have admitted that they need more time to hit the standards expected of the add-on.
"In order to make sure we can deliver a great experience, we are going to take some more time to improve and polish this content," a statement released from Capcom explained. It's nice that the publisher's being so upfront about this, but we don't think anyone's going to complain about a delay to complimentary content. Then again, this is the Internet.

Noo, I'm dying to go back to RE7
I'm looking forward to this content and I'm glad they're taking the time necessary to polish it up.
Fair enough - if it isn't release ready it should be delayed.
Delay for quality is a good thing.
Let them take their time, I can wait.
well i'm OK with it, might as well make sure it's the best it can be
still i would have liked to see what they already have though
good on them for being so upfront.
Yeah no ones gunna complain about complimentary content ahem*FF15*ahem
Just do it right so I'm ok with it. RE7 is an amazing game so would be a shame adding additional content which would dilute the experience.
I think Capcom are changing their act up and paying a lot more attention to how people perceive them, at least with Resident Evil VII. I think it's quite a classy move.
@kyleforrester87 Took the words right out of my mouth!
Disappointed the DLC is delayed but I like the upfront way Capcom handled this.
pity more game devolpers dont delay poor games and get them to standard were they should be
