Watch Dogs 2 garnered a decent amount of praise when it launched late last year, but its arrival didn't really set the world alight. Although it's commonly considered to be a sequel that improves upon just about everything that its predecessor got right, it released in a crowded period and was unfortunately overlooked by many. As far as we know, though, sales have been ticking along nicely since then, and so it's no surprise to see Ubisoft continuing its support of the title.
The game's April update is its biggest ever, bringing a brand new competitive multiplayer mode, online racing, and a load of new gear. The No Compromises downloadable content also launches this month, offering up some fresh missions. Not a bad haul if you're still into the adventures of Marcus and his gang of hackers.

I mean it's great & all but this isn't the type of game that I want to revisit & do PVP & racing on.
Although I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would,I still preferred the original..characters were far better and so was the story.I complete this and its done. Will be selling this on now.
Good that they are still supporting this though.
@Wazeddie22 I'm with you there, the darker and grittier tone suited the whole "corporations are watching you" vibe. WD2 felt like Ubisoft focus tested the game too much.
I liked this game, but I don't ever intend to revisit it for DLC or otherwise. I know a lot of outlets say that Watch Dogs 2 improved upon almost everything from the original game, but one thing was significantly worse.
Pure stealth.
The pure feet on the dirt, in the thick of it, like a ghost stealth that was possible in the original Watch Dogs was absent from Watch Dogs 2. If I had known that I would not have bought the sequel to, what I thought was, a pretty good stealth game.
I really want another Splinter Cell. If Ubisoft did a game like that right it might help to change the sour image I have for them. Fat chance that happens though... If it does; I have no doubt it will be an online affair...
If they released a single player only DLC which had a decent amount of content I'd buy that, but I just don't care for the multiplayer or cosmetic nonsense. It's a shame there's such a glut of microtransactions in the game, as it's got the potential to be great. As is, it looks like sheer greed on ubisods' part. I picked this up in a sale and blew through the campaign in about a week, and I really liked it. It's just a pain that it interrupts you with invasions and co op stuff every five mins.
Well, I personally did think it improved over Watchdogs and it was refreshing to play a game with a more colourful, varied cast of characters.
I thought the world was brilliantly realised too, very different to other open world games I have played, loads of colour and character.
Having said that, I did everything I wanted too at the time, including getting the platinum trophy and I just have no interest in going back to it.
I do wonder how well some of the DLC released these days actually does.
More free content is great and I really do love Watch Dogs 2 but I do kinda miss the serious tone of the original.
