Destiny 2 is no slouch in gameplay, as the walkthrough of the title’s opening Homecoming mission illustrates through here. But developer Bungie does love a good CG trailer, too, and this stunning scene setting piece opened its gameplay reveal presentation earlier today. It’s a little more self-serious than the first cinematic, but it’s still a must watch.

Must admit there was a lot to like about this...
@BAMozzy I knew BAM would find something to like eventually!
@BAMozzy @ShogunRok
Seriously though, Destiny 2 is looking pretty good. Could be tempted to pick it up. It certainly seems to be a more complete package, and the added social aspects (like playing with clans) are pretty great.
@Quintumply I think our Push Square staff fireteam could turn out pretty well as long as Sammy doesn't pack the game in after 3 hours.
@ShogunRok he'll give it a quick go then move onto something else I'm sure.
I'm really looking forward to this, looks impressive. We are almost certainly garunteed the silly DLC strategy, same as D1 but oh well can't win them all
@ShogunRok LMAO - I like a LOT of games!! I still wish they had tied it in with the old Destiny and built it up but must say this looks interesting. The social spaces are more interesting too it seems and no longer have to keep going to Orbit. Glad they haven't made Raids match made but offered a bit more of an in-built LFG type format. The new Supers look OK but certainly seem inspired by Super heroes and their most popular sword (at least before the last raid made Dark Drinker compulsory). The planets look to have a bit more variety too. As long as they build the weapons so they can have different stats for MP and can be 'balanced' separately, they could be on to a winner with this...
@BAMozzy We'll be raiding together again, I'm sure!
@Simon_Fitzgerald I have spent well over 2000hours in Destiny on the XB1 alone and probably 500hrs (or more) on the PS4 version!
