I vote for 2013.my boy Jack Tretton.drop the Mic moments at e3
and bring back Kevin butler.this guy is funny.and 1995 was a great year I have been a PlayStation fan since day 1
That baby is still creepy.......
I still hold E3 2006 as the biggest goof any company has ever done at E3.
It's a damn good thing we can look back in hindsight that things corrected themselves but its a lesson, don't be price abusive, and don't pull the same "We can push our media with this" card 3 times in a row.
@BLP_Software Sony E3 2006 was horrendous, but nothing - absolutely nothing - beats Konami E3 2010.

@ShogunRok that video was painful to watch 😂
@ShogunRok
Omg i almost feel sorry for Konami. Well almost.......
Sony 2006
Activision 2007 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfzThMe7bBM
Konami 2010
The unholy trinity of E3 presentations.
@ShogunRok I'm surprised no one has turned that into a show on Adult Swim by now! It looks like it would fit right in.
@ShogunRok I never knew of this and now I watched it I can't explain what I feel anymore.
I miss Jack Tretton he had the best smile in the biz
LMAO Great video man! Whats funny is that Jack probably knew it would be his last E3 so he went full on savage mode and boy what a moment that was! hahah
Really excited for this years E3 it should be good on all fronts and at the end of the day, gamers win E3
@ShogunRok God I try and block that from memory. That wasn't even a conference at least Sony showed stuff at 2006. That was just drunken shenanigans 0-o
@ShogunRok Haha, I remember that so clearly. It's still so embarassing to watch.
Great video, by the way, @get2sammyb
@Jake3103 @Wasted_Smuggler Thank you!
My favourite is e3 2015, final fantasy 7 remake, shenmue 3 and the last guardian all in one e3
E3 2013 was big. Who can forget this video?

E3 2013. Shaped the entire console generation. It also saw the reveal of Kingdom Heart 3, which for me personally will never be topped.
E3 2015 is a close second. FF7 Remake, TLG & KH3 gameplay.
I really wanted to give it to Jack Tretton, but 2015 is damn hard to beat.
What people don't realize about Sony's 2006 conference, it confirmed to the world that core gamers didn't want powerful hardware & was not willing to pay for it. Hence Sony & Microsoft both dropping customized hardware, to customized off the shelf PC parts.
Which of these truly lived up to the hype though? That might be an interesting follow up poll.
I considered voting "Other" as in E3 2016: The whole thing! But 2015 was too big, Sony put the internet on meltdown with that one.
Special mention HAS to be made for the first E3 because it ultimately saw the start of a seismic shift in the industry which PlayStation spearheaded. The industry went from a media that was the domain of children to adolescent and young adult consumer led billion dollar empire.
I believe it was E3 2008 when Jack Tretton had a updated PS family sales demo using LBP . While it wasn't an announcement it was an awesome display to hype the release of Littlebigplanet.
@oatmealwarrior92 Yeah, I remember that one well. Was awesome.
Whatever year Sony came out with that tutorial video on how to share video games with friends.
Overall, I think 2016 might've been their best conference but those megatons in 2015 were incredible. That Final Fantasy VII trailer still gives me tingles, as does the Shenmue III video. Those two moments were perfect to me. Also, GameTrailers's reaction to it was a great part of it too.
I went with other. E3 2016 had some great games that we're actually going to get to play. What has come out of 2015? A big, fat nothing.
@Gamer83
@get2sammyb Lol nice one.
@get2sammyb
Yeah, I'm standing by my statement. Hardcore fanboys creamed their pants over The Last Guardian, but it didn't do much in sales. The game everybody wanted after E3 2015 is FF VII, that's the one that made that year's show and until I see some proof otherwise, it's still not anywhere close to actually happening. E3 2016 was much better, it had games that we're getting sooner and unlike Shenmue or The Last Guardian, which have very niche appeal, stuff like Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot and God of War appeals to a wider audience. I'd also argue that at least in the case of Crash and God of War people seemed pretty damn hyped. Maybe not quite as much as they were for FF VII but it wasn't far off. So, E3 2016 still gets my vote as the one that had the best moments. Although E3 2013 is a very close runner-up because MS needed that kick in the pants.
I loved the Holy Trinity moment, but I still say that 2013 was the best to date. Not only was it consumer friendly, it was almost an apology...a lessons learned, we'll do better moment.
20 days!
@Ralizah that video made me proud to be British
Watched the full video last night and this was really great - well put together. I completely forgot about the PS1 pricing mic drop. Plus the excerpts from the PS1 advertising campaign. Boy Sony's advertising worked wonders on my teenager brain.
2015 for sure. Can't remember an E3 conference like it before or since. Just completely slack-jawed as they announced one mind-blowing announcement after the next.
@Rudy_Manchego Thanks for watching!
@THRILLHOU Yeah, I love how the British dude cuts him down with one well-timed quip. And everybody on stage with Kennedy was so visibly disgusted with him. What a mess.
Thanks for the video!
For my favorite presentation it was definitely 2016 E3.
My favorite games announcement was 2015 E3
But, for me, the biggest impact was the 1995 E3.
Man who can forget the reveal of the new God of War last year? Wasn't it great? We all here in the chat, actually trying to figure out what the music playing was about...that moment was gold!
missed Jack Tretton
I'm actually a bit sad that Dragon Ball Fighter Z was leaked before its E3 trailer announcement. I would cry from the happiness. I'll still be amazed at the trailer, but ...
Well, no matter. I'm getting one of my dream games, so I can't complain.
Well, I gotta admit Tretton dropping the mic is the best one for me, it's like a rebirth moment for Sony, or at least the moment that marked this dominance, and we love that! I cannot look back at the holy trinity moment as a good memory because sony now in 2017 are not develivering 2 of those games... so, I don't want to talk about it...
On the other hand, I believe this year is going to be Microsoft's equivalent to Sony's 2006 conference...
They are playing with the same hand.
@ShogunRok OMG this is the worst presentation ever!!
Shouldn't this be reported? hahaha
