The Division is one of those games that just couldn't seem to sustain its own hype, despite Ubisoft's best efforts to build upon the initial release and keep people invested. Still, the publisher hasn't given up on the title just yet as it's attempting to reel new players in with a free weekend.
Yep, the full game is yours to try starting today - and it won't cost you a penny. Taking the title's large file size into account, we'd suggest getting it downloaded sooner rather than later. The free period ends on the 7th May.

Surprised to see they put TWO countdowns on the demo - it has a six hour limit in addition to the calendar one. And if you reach level 8 before that, the demo ends as well.
But oh well. The premise is interesting, free-roaming aspect is neat and it's a game that actually recognizes and adapts to Remote Play - so this has been an entertaining demo overall.
You know I never was hyped for this in the first place. That horrendous Ubisoft "playthrough" that showed the game off made me want to vomit for being hyper-cheesy which immediately took away from any hype I could muster.
Was more interested in Wildlands but not picked that up yet either...
Has anyone tried this since the 4k patch on ps4 pro, I didn't even know this had happened as my usual place for that kind of discovery is digital foundry but for some reason they didn't report it. Not sure if its checker boarded or native but it does look crispy.
Nah once I completed the game, I haven't gone back to it since.
