Doo-duhduh-duhduh-doo-doo-duhduh-duhduh-doo-doo. Growing up, Paperboy on the Commodore 64 was one of this writer’s favourite games, so even if Special Delivery doesn’t have its iconic soundtrack, we’re quite excited by the prospect of hurling the news at peoples’ heads in PlayStation VR.
Alright, the basic primary colours and simplistic shapes mean that this isn’t exactly a looker, but we bet you a copy of tomorrow’s Metro that it’s fun to play. There’s no release date attached to this one, but hopefully we won’t have to wait too long to find it in our virtual mailbox.
Update: Apparently the game's due out on 6th June.

I still have the game manual from the NES Paperboy.
I don't know why? I haven't had the game since I was a kid. I actually have few NES manuals from games long gone.
The Legend of Zelda is my favorite. It's like a mini book.
I first played Paperboy in the arcades! I remember the handlebar for the controls and this was before a version came to homes. I had it on the CPC464 but it wasn't as good as the arcades...
Considering the visuals, this soundtrack is terrible. It clearly needs something more fitting... perhaps, just play this song nonstop? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAD6Obi7Cag
Looks fun somehow.
Oh boy nostalgia on a bike! I remember playing Paperboy in arcades at the seaside.
Paperboy has to be up there with IK+ as one of my favourites from those long lost days of youth. Sigh.
Paperboy, so much nostalgia. I remember buzzing when I eventually finished the BMX course at the end.
Hey I remember playing Paperboy on my Gameboy! I used to love it...for some reason--can't remember why, but this looks pretty cool!
This actually looks pretty cool
Looks good
Played it on the Speccy back in the day. That wasn't much of a looker either.
I saw this on the PSVR reddit and I'm immediately sold. Paperboy 2 on SNES was my jam as a child.
Looks like fun
