If you include all of the special editions, we’re well on our way to 200 issues of WAYP now, which is frankly incredible. In the inaugural issue published back in 2013, your humble host was playing Lumines: Electronic Symphony on the PlayStation Vita. Not a bad shout for this weekend, really.

I'm on a break from review assignments at the moment, so I'm keeping myself busy with... Injustice: Gods Among Us. With the sequel coming up, I just felt like revisiting the original, and I'm having fun with it – even though it looks dated on the PS4.

PREY for me this weekend as I'll be unravelling the mysteries of the Talos I space station, while shooting every last coffee cup I see. You never know if they just might turn out to be one of those rascally mimics, so it's best to err on the side of caution.

I finally managed to pick up NieR: Automata after all the screams coming my direction to play it. Goodness, that opening hour is mind-bending, so excited to see some of the twists I have in store.

I'm in the middle of reviewing PREY and don't really plan on playing anything else until that's done. But that's not such a bad thing since this game is kinda fantastic.

I’ve been playing Persona 5 for weeks now and it doesn’t feel like I’ll be finished any time soon. It’s a testament to the game’s quality that I’m 65 hours in but I don’t want it to end any time soon.

My PS4 pulled me away from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with the promise of turning into a toilet roll and fighting things that can turn into toilet rolls. I'm a big fan of story driven sci-fi games and a huge fan of Arkane Studios, so can't wait to see what PREY is all about.

I'll be dipping in and out of the puzzle double bill of Puyo Puyo Tetris as I try and wrap my head around the former. There's also Tales from the Borderlands to carry on with, and maybe – just maybe – I'll get around to playing Horizon: Zero Dawn again.

This weekend I will be continuing through Lost Odyssey on the Xbox 360 in between games of Modern Warfare Remastered and Overwatch on PS4.
Lots of games on our itinerary, then – but what about your's? What are you playing this weekend? Let us know in the comments section below, and we'll be back next week.

I got Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 yesterday. I only made it part way through KH1 back in 2002. Counterstrike had its hooks in deep back then and not much else got a look in.
I gotta say this collection looks huge, I'd like to say I'll play them all but if I only manage 1 and 2 I'll be happy.
Disney Afternoon Collection, King of Fighters 14, and WWE 2K17 on PS4. GTA V on Xbox One and Monster Hunter 4, Mario Golf on 3DS.
Nearing the end of KH 1.5 but I reached a difficulty spike that I will need to grind through. Reminds me why I dislike JRPGs but overall I like it and plan to beat it. Does anyone know if playing the Hades Cup and losing halfway through lets me keep the experience earned in that try?
Also playing God Hand on PS3 and Kamiko on Switch.
Yooka-Laylee on PS4. I swore I'd never pay for it after the Wii U debacle but 1/2 price $8 rental on Gamefly I'm OK with.
So far, 6 hours in, better than the reviews had lead me to believe. Though it does feel kind of not all right. I made it to casino without ever finding Trowzer in the swamp so I don't have pull and can't pull slot handles. Not sure I'll ever find the entrance again as it always puts me back in the hub after I turn it off. Found the shortcut to swamp at least. Think I know where the ice tomb is. Hub world needs to be smaller or gave quick travel to each tome. But I am mostly enjoying it.
Except the Minecarts. Needed 100, got 67, needed 125 got 87. Didn't even bother talking to him the 3rd time. The game will go back w/o those beat.
@kyleforrester87 I picked up KH remix yesterday as well! There's so much content there but remember that the two DS games Re:coded and 358/2 days are actually movies since the games weren't ported just the cutscenes. Also I highly recommend playing chain of memories before playing 2 because it adds quite a bit to the story and fills in a ton of gaps between the games. Chain of memories was my intro to kingdom hearts but I played the GBA version so I'm excited to replay it on PS4.
After not actually finishing Nioh back in Feb/Mar, the new DLC influenced me to go back to it this week. I'll be carrying on with that but not sure what else. Could carry on with Ghost Recon or start the Van Helsing ARPG I just picked up on the PS store.
I'll be looking forward to reading your review on Prey because though it was generally interesting, some stuff in the demo put me off a little. Want to see some solid opinions before I make my decision on whether I want to get it or not.
Started a new game plus play through of the last of us, not played for a few years now and I'm enjoying myself again. Part of the reason I wanted to do a playthrough was to experience it in 4k with HDR on my OLED and it hasn't disappointed. Looks as beautiful as it did before just better, I know that doesn't explain it but it's the best I can come up with.
PS4: NiOh, Dishonored 2
PSVita: GTA Liberty City Stories, The Last Blade 2
I would be playing Yakuza 0 this weekend if it wasn't for Amazon delaying my order until December (cancelled now). Instead I'll be returning to NiOh for the expansion & once the ~13GB(!) update has downloaded I'm going to get started on Dishonored 2.
On vita I'll be playing The Last Blade 2- a game I really wish I was good at & the fantastically nostalgia inducing GTA Liberty City Stories.
@7yL3rB Cool, I'll play COM before 2 then. I'm almost at the end of Deep Jungle on KH1 after 2 sittings.. I can't remember exactly how far I got 15 years ago but I know I didn't get past this area lol.
Just Started Dragon Quest Heroes 2 last night so I'll be having some fun with that over the weekend, along with Persona 5,Dishonoured 2 and maybe Final Fantasy 15..I'm finding it really hard to get back into FF to be honest.Gave it a break a couple of months ago thinking I'd wait for the updates and now I wish I hadn't bothered..
Oh,also bought Valkyria Chronicles 2 on ps vita and absolutely loving it!
Finished playing nier automata route A and B, now playing the later half of route C. I think route C is the real game.
I bought a copy of Fallout 4 a few months ago and I didnt have a chance to play it until recently. I am completely hooked. Man I was missing out on such a great game for years. It's a good thing for my wallet. I'll wait for a price drop until I get Prey
Persona 5 on ps4, about to head to 5th dungeon and loving it still 65 hours in. Amazon had an offer on infinite warfare for 12.99 so expecting that to arrive too and will give it a go. I figure I can get at least 12 quids worth of fun from it. Want nier so hope to be able to get that at some point.
On vita I am currently playing trails of cold steel and lego avengers.
Going to attempt to chip away at Andromeda this weekend, maybe some Portal Knights and Horizon.
SUPERHOT on my PC.
The Last of Us Remastered on PS4.
Work again. I cant wait to move to Utrecht as my Gf promised we get a Switch ( and MK8 deluxe)
On my third playthrough of nier and about a quarter of the way through final fantasy 10 remaster.ff10 looks so good.
Really proud of my daughter as we played local two player on MK8 on Switch, first time she's ever stuck with a game for more than 10 minutes!
Other than that, a wee wander in Hyrule, then finishing my platinum run on Stories: Path of destinies. Getting all 24 endings is taking some time but I am too committed to stop. Want to finish it so I can get on with starting Resident Evil 7.
@Rob_230
Yep Persona 5 for me again this weekend. On the 5th dungeon and still having a blast. If only that darn cat did not make me go to bed all the time....
@McGuit agreed! Just saw the improv fireworks scene near le blanc. I thought morgana getting smoked was just desert for being such a pain haha
Pro Evo again...!
Some Prey (really enjoying it so far) and trying to stop my weapons breaking in BotW
I have one more trophy to collect in Persona 5 before I hang up my thief mask but I've thoroughly enjoyed my 2 playthroughs. I've just bought PES 2017 off the store so I'll be getting stuck into the awesome master league. I don't usually buy digital games but I couldn't pass on this for £12.
I'll be frantically hitting coffee cups in the opening hour of PREY, or wandering the wilds aimlessly in BOTW.
Playing blood and wine and daaayuuum toussiant is beautiful.
Please watch the language -Tasuki-
Just a few trophies to clean up in Little Nightmares - although one is a no-death speed run, which I'm a little concerned could be frustrating without backup saving.
After that I've only got one episode left to finally finish Telltale's Batman series, as well as the latest Walking Dead instalment which I may try to squeeze in at some point.
@Fight_Teza_Fight December?
When I finish Yakuza zero I will post it down to you or swap games or something. Just give me a couple of weeks to finish it off.
On that note Im playing Yakuza Zero. I wish I won the cat fight battle against the gambling king, that loss hammered my gains in the property management section. I'm kinda glad actually so I can spend more time with pocket cars and playing super hang on. Great game.
FF7, with some Mortal Kombat in the mix thanks to a new PS3.
I'll mostly be playing on my phone while waiting for the ridiculously long load times on Sniper Ghost Warrior 3, after it's crashed, frozen or broken again, AGAIN.
I'm at a wedding today, so gaming will be none existent today. But I'm off tomorrow and the wife is out so I will be going back into palace number 4 in persona 5.
Amazing Spiderman 2 on the ps3
and the Arkham remasters on the ps4
I was finally playing Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two (PS3) for awhile, but I got distracted recently by stomach flu coming out of nowhere.
I'm fine now though, just need to finish recovering via drinking lots of fluids and meds + actually eat some real food.
@sinalefa Nope you can't lose and save whatever experience you had for the Hades Trophy.
Unless they changed that for PS3/PS4 versions or my memory of the OG PS2 games are that bad.
@kyleforrester87 Warning you in advance, KH Re: CoM forces you to battle with cards, instead of normal attacks/magic.
@Rapid Alot of fond memories with FFX 10 for me.
Hope you enjoy the leftover 3/4 of it .
@Rudy_Manchego Congrats to your daughter on sticking thru with the game ^_^.
@ApostateMage Same here, most of my game collection is physical, with a few exceptions, because they were digital only.
@DerMeister 500GB Super Slim version, or an earlier model? I bought myself the Super Slim version back during X-Mas 2015 and don't regret it.
@ToddlerNaruto
I guess they changed it because I did keep my experience. Funny fact is I actually beat the game today but my PS3 froze during one of the ending's cutscenes so I need to fight the final boss again.
Glad to hear you are better now.
MK8D here. Those time trials are hard (but fun). Don't think I'll be picking up gold Kart parts any time soon. 🏆
Finished hearts of stone. Have blood and wine but I'll postpone it as much as I can. It is the last witcher.
Evil within two-thirds done. Good stuff.
First chapter of dishonored definitive. This is really good.
@themcnoisy Yeah . December 20th-22nd apparently, but I feel like that's just a placeholder. I think they are genuinely out of new copies.
Also thanks for offering but I'm just going to get it digital now.
After 200+ hours of P5 I'm going to throw in some buffer games now, before I get to Yakuza 0. Been playing nothing but JRPGs for what feels like an eternity.
Dragon Quest Builders i just love it im getting rid of my backlog. 😀
@ToddlerNaruto I got a 500GB super slim. My previous one was a chubby slim. Set me back $170, but it's nice to play my PS3 games again.
I think I may need to get Persona 5, and Edith Finch. So many good games!
Playing some NFS Rivals on ps3 and maybe play The Run later. Honestly would rather be playing Hot Pursuit right now buut my copy has decided to leave its case and take a holiday I guess. Which doesn't matter anyways since its been glitching ever since I beat the game. What I really wish I had was a ps2 still so I could play my copy of NFS Hot Pursuit 2. Man oh man was that game well done! So many memories playing the heck out of that game! Brings a tear to my eye socket.. Thats a game EA should remaster and make all Ps4 Pro pretty! I would buy one copy day one! No wait.. twoooo copies! 😉
well my PS+ runs out in a few days so i'm gonna grind on Overwatch and Battlefront before it runs out, can't afford to renew it for a few weeks you see
HZD went down the no fast travel route so may take some time. Can't get myself to play anything else till I complete the main story at least.
@sinalefa Thanks for the concern, and glad to hear it did save your experience.
@DerMeister Ah nice. My first PS3 was an used 160GB Slim that I got for X-Mas way back in 2011.
I gave it away to a friend when I got the Super Slim though.
Playing prey with dreamfall chapters mixed in. I have to say both are good but 11 hours in prey and it's like really good at least a 9 imo
As I've just got the platinum trophy for dark souls 3 yesterday I've moved on to bloodbourne (2-3 years late as I got it the day it released but left it in the wrapper)
Had a go on alienation before. It's pretty good but the controls are horrible.
@KratosMD cold steel 2, is my next vita game to play once i compete stein gate 0.
Also playing mario kart deluxe and zelda on the switch.
Switch/vita are to amazing hand helds consoles.
@THRILLHOU They arnt that bad tbh.. make R1 reload.
@kyleforrester87 that's the issue I have with it. The r3 button should never be used for reloading. Way too easy to hit by mistake. R1 just doesn't feel right for reload either, im aure I'll get used to it, but it's a bit odd.
@THRILLHOU R1 works quite nicely for reload I think, don't they use it in Uncharted? It's easier to get the timing right too for the "tactical reload". But yeah once I changed that around my problems were gone.
Played No Man's Sky all weekend. Not that bad. I could see it getting kinda repetitive after awhile. Planets all look very similar. A lot to see and do. The amount of stuff u can carry for a crafting game is a little small. Item management kinda taking away from the game a little. I get its a survival game, but could of been just a little bigger.
Yakuza 0, Madden 17 franchise and MUT modes, NBA2k17 myteam and mygm modes
