Ubisoft has published its earnings report for the last financial year and outlined its plans for the near future, revealing that – in the financial year starting on 1st April 2018 and ending on 30th April 2019 – the French giant will publish four new AAA games. Three of those will be from established franchises and one will be a new IP that will be multiplayer-focused.
Ubisoft also confirmed that South Park: The Fractured But Whole, the oft-teased next Assassin's Creed game, and the recently-announced Far Cry 5 and The Crew 2 will all be out by the end of March 2018.
So which Ubisoft franchises could be getting sequels in 2018-19? There are plenty of franchises to dip into: Splinter Cell, Watch Dogs, Rainbow Six, The Division, and maybe even Prince of Persia could all be contenders for a new instrumental in the next year or so. It's likely that Ubi will reveal some inkling of what we can expect at its upcoming E3 2017 press conference.
Which franchises would you like to see getting a new addition in the near future? Or are you looking forward to another new IP? Litter your maps with collectibles in the comments below.

Prince of Persia would be great, but Im sure new ip could be promising.
At least 1 will almost certainly have the Tom Clancy name! I wouldn't be surprised if one was a Rayman game and maybe a Just Dance 2018 game too with both on Switch as well.
Beyond good and evil 2 is the one I am most interested in ; and probably would enjoy a sequel to child of light. Another lumines on vita would be great too (doubtful it will happen though)
Child of Light* and Valiant Hearts are the best games Ubisoft have released this generation, so more like that please. I'm very skeptical about any big budget Ubisoft release these days.
*Though the need for everything to rhyme,
Became tiresome when used all the time.
@kyleforrester87 Agree, I really enjoyed Valiant Hearts and I thought it was a good little game.
I imagine it will be Tom Clancy's Ghost Suppository where you play an elite proctocologist who has to search a semi large open world, taking out enemies by adding medicinal enemas to them, one NPC at a time. I think they are really wearing out the Tom Clancy brand name to be honest.
EDIT: You'll also need to always be online to use a suppository AND you'll need Microtransactions to choose the colour and run up for the suppository.
Ubisoft has a great library of ips, thought I would like a new Watch Dogs and that bloody Beyond Good and Evil sequel.
A single player, non online connected, linear focused story with a female protagonist. I dare you, Ubisoft.
Rayman please. That is all.
Here's a test for Ubisoft, announce a game that's a new IP that doesn't have an open world, multiplayer and a live service business model.
A new splinter cell might be cool
I'd love a new Splinter cell or Prince of Persia.If they make another Watch Dogs please make it darker with a better cast of characters than number 2.
Is there any meaning to the graphic used for this piece? That logo is from Zombi on the Amiga back in about 1986 or so. That game sh@ me right up as a kid! Decent game for it's time though. I'd love a reboot of that, with the proper Dawn of the Dead license this time. Imagine you and four other people defending a shopping mall from biker gangs and dealing with the undead, on current gen platforms. That would ROCK!
How was watch dogs 2 I haven't had a chance to play it
@BladeRider that would be awesome
@adf86 I like that point
@smythelove watch dogs 2 is great. A couple of difficulty spikes aside it's great fun.
I'm really starting to hope Vivendi does take them over. I've really hated this almost Mp only focus that Ubisoft has went to the last few years.
Well, it's probably gonna be that "leaked game" from Watch Dogs 2, right?
@THRILLHOU cool thanks!
Multiplayer-focused? Pass
